Comments:
• Clif Newtons's real name is Clif Magness and he has an interesting history in the music business. He only recorded two songs as "Clif Newton".
• The Chipmunks track is a Billy Joel cover. The B size is a cover of Queen's "Crazy Little Thing Called Love".
• "I'm the Lucky One" was a B side to a song called "Magic Lady".
• It looks like Holly Penfield is still active in the business. - Holly Penfield - Singer, Songwriter
• "How Glad I Am" is a remake of a Nancy Wilson record (Jazz/R&B artist).

I wonder how many of these haven't been heard on the VJ Big 40 yet. I assume most of them peaked at #40 for only one week, so each year there's a 1 in 10 shot that it will get played. If not, it has to wait another 51 weeks for another 1 in 10 shot.

@sadchild - I was listening to Jorge's mix when you posted this! I counted and there are ironically 40 #40 songs. I thought about it and this forum has quite a bit of history so I decide to compile what I could find. I was surprised to see that many of these weeks were broadcasted. I hyperlinked what I found below. Also, several peaked for two weeks. Blue Oyster Cult, Willie Nelson, and Night Ranger held for three weeks!

This song may have been heard on the VJ Big 40 but given it was on the July 4th week I bet money that it was not heard on a AT40 countdown due to them frequently doing 'special' countowns on the July 4th weekend.
