You only canceled your Sirius sub, right?

I am telling you, XM is making out in this deal. Most of the reason why people choose Sirius over XM is now available to the XM sub.

Yeah, it was the Sirius sub that I canceled. This place needs a "duh" emoticon. :)

The Bridge is called "Classic Hits"? This does not sound like The Bridge I know and love.

Edit: Also I just noticed the 'ch 27 is not currently available' footnote. Now *that* sounds like The Bridge I'm familiar with!

Classic Hits is a relatively accurate description of The Bridge. It's too soft to be considered Classic Rock. "Easy Listening" may be an even better description...but Movin' EZ comes to mind when I think of Easy Listening.

I tried the Bridge a few times, and I could never get into it. A bit too FM-ish for me.

I also canceled my Sirius sub in favor of another XM radio. Only channel I will miss is Sirius Disorder (and it looks like that may be gone, anyway).

The Bridge is anything but a 'hits' channel, that's the beauty of it. It concerns me they might keep the name and change the content. Maybe I'm just being paranoid.

I would classify it as "mellow rock" or "soft rock."

I think it will still be soft as its location is next to Escape. I think they added "Hits" to justify it being in the hits neighbourhood (althought that seems to be lumped in with Decades in the pop catagory now).

Do nothing, and your radio will be updated tonight at midnight EST (or whenever you turn it on tomorow).

Your radio should automatically update when you turn it on after Midnight Eastern.

thanks, i dropped my sirius sub and just added "best of" for NFL. I am happy to see 1st Wave coming back. I will miss the system though. Overall i guess i am pleased with the new line up.

Well call me crazy, but I am totally lovin that channel line up for XM.
The Line Up doesn't look bad and it is nice that we are getting some new choices, but how the channels are programmed will make the big difference. There is one channel on here that I am worried about that I didn't think would get touched and that is XM Comedy. Raw Dog isn't half the channel that 150 was. I hope Raw Dog gets majorly tweaked, because I listened to a lot of the stand up on XM Comedy and I was never a fan of Raw Dog.

Yes, I think they will certainly have to do a better job with the channels themselves. I think the line up will work, but not with shallow playlist.

In regards to comedy, I haven't listened to those but for maybe an hour the whole time I've had sat radio so that doesn't impact me personally, but your point is well taken.
