I don't agree. Although I am loosing one of my favorite channels on XM I am gaining a few new channels that I missed when I left Sirius. So now I just hope Sirius doesn't butcher XM's music library.

It's not XM's music library anymore, it's Mel's and Mel is all about playing the hits.

Lithium is a Lucy wanna be. How anyone thought Lucy needed to be cut is out of their mind.

I feel the same and I HOPE I am wrong. Why would Sirius NOT take advantage of XM's extensive music library?

XM is so getting screwed tomorrow. God damn Mel. LUCY OFF THE AIR?

Can't wait for hits based programming.

You know I just really sat down and compared SIRIUS current rock channels with the new XM lineup and I think you are right. Seems other than a few channels basically XM is just getting SIRIUS's channel line up. The one thing we have to hope for is that they don't make improvements to the playlist. Hopefully they understand this, but only time will tell. Hits based isn't so bad, but it is what you do with it that makes you or breaks you. Then again not every channel was meant to be just about the hits either.

SiriusXM should have kept The Rhyme or Backspin and gotten rid of the National Lampoon comedy channel, What a POS channel.

I'm loving this new lineup.

Can't wait to hear the new Pop2K. Hopefully that's the new face of SIRIUS Hits 1.

I am also looking forward to Pop2K. I am thinking it may be more like a decades channel but for the 2000s. That's the sense I get from the channel title - pop hits from this decade. That's something you can hear at times on the Pulse and Sirius Hits 1, but not nearly that extensively. It would be nice to hear some pop hits from the 00-03 period or so.
