I got Win 7 Professional from work today. I am currently installing it now. I actually have a legit key.

Windows 7 is so freakin' stable I doubt you'll be needing much help with it. I've been using it since the first beta. All I know is when I do mine, I'm coming in here for help!!

The ONLY BSOD I've experienced with W7 was after installing NOD32.I've actually gotten a good number of blue screens from Windows 7. I just blame it on my build. I'm using 7100 still.
Antivirus.What is NOD32?

I'm holding out for the military discount.
Also, looks like there's several different versions (home/pro/etc)... any suggestions on which is better (or most useful for standard computer use) and why?
Best thing to do is go to MS web site and compare the versions, it is very well laid out what the differences are and then buy the one that fits what you need.
I'd dare say most will probably be okay with just the home version.
I got all my copies at half price! Should have jumped on it back then!
