I go deep in Disney Musical animation history and even I didn't know that one.

Well I have a piece of rice caught in my tooth and I'm pretty sure this is worse than Ty's covid.

I may have to kill myself.

My friend George has a shirt for every sport/ concert/ event, and a hat too. Fedoras, wide brim hats, all types. He's always coordinated.
I used to get a t-shirt from every concert. I eventually gave up on it when T's started costing $45. Now I only get one if I really like the design. I used to always get a shirt when I'd go to a new ballpark, but haven't done that in a while either. I would have gotten one in Baltimore, but they didn't have a good Camden Yards shirt. (Gotta celebrate the architecture.)
Your "friend" with fedoras...dude please don't tell me you wear those...I kinda like u Scotch, please don't tell me u wear those...that will put a strain on our friendship.
The Mrs. keeps saying that I'd look good in a fedora. I can't bring myself to do it, even for the broad.

who the f cares if critical race theory is taught to our kids?
It's not. It's a false-flag buzzword used by the right. They have no idea what it is.

Here's what it is. It's a concept that is taught in law schools. It's not new. And it has nothing to do with the history or social studies curriculums in public schools.

It's a scare tactic. Just like death panels, and shedding vaccines, and pedophile pizzerias.

An essay at Brookings.edu explains "critical race theory": "U.S. social institutions (e.g., the criminal justice system, education system, labor market, housing market and healthcare system) are laced with racism embedded in laws, regulations, rules and procedures that lead to differential outcomes by race." Critical race theory does not blame white people for racism – but, regardless, white people do not want it taught in our schools. Mister scotch is correct in saying the right "have no idea what it is."

Why are states banning critical race theory?

And that brings us to this week's news from California, where a school board decreed that critical race theory is "racist." Huh?

Basically yes. It's people banning something that isn't a thing. Just like politicians were banning Sharia Law.
I know there are groups who would like to see their communities governed by Sharia Law at least up here. Banning would prevent that from happening.

But I see your point. But I have heard people advocating it be taught it schools. Can I assume that they also have no idea what they are talking about?
