I don't really get why guys do this. If I'm asking some girl to marry me we have definitely talked about marriage beforehand and I'm 100% sure the answer will be yes.

There's a strong possibility it's a setup. But it's also possible the guy is clueless and thought the pressure of the moment would force her to say yes.

Not necessarily. When I proposed to my wife it was at lunch at a bar. The place was packed so we were seated at the pool table (converted as a table). When I entered the bar I had no idea I was going to propose. The feeling just came over me. All the ducks fell in a row. I proposed and she obviously said yes. I wasn't on a Jumbotron or anything and I don't think anybody else in the bar knew (except our waitress who was informed by my now wife). We had not talked about this previously. But I knew she was looking for a serious relationship so it wasn't too much of a jump I guess.

On that anniversary we always had lunch or dinner there until they closed it.

I'm watching a random 20/20 on Hulu and this woman just called herself an "attorney at law".

Why do lawyers say that?

You can't be an attorney at anything else right? Like attorney at science...that's not a thing.

Let's discuss hat etiquette.

I often find myself wearing an Eagles cap. When I sit down to eat at a restaurant I take it off. When I meet a lady I kinda make the gesture of getting up and tipping it. I don't really commit to those actions though. I like half stand and touch the brim. Good enough.

This shit was pounded into me by my father. It's just stuff guys are supposed to do.

Am I nuts here?

I have a bunch of baseball caps from different places, but I don't wear them much, because of the hat-head thing. I only wear one if I'm out in the sun for a while, like at the beach. I also don't do a lot of "meeting ladies".

I'm starting on a nice little hat collection, although nowhere near my late uncle's who had like 80 hats at one time. He was a hunter/outdoorsman so he used them a lot. I'll probably get like 20 or something.

My friend George has a shirt for every sport/ concert/ event, and a hat too. Fedoras, wide brim hats, all types. He's always coordinated.
