Say Farewell to The Bridge... Again. (Led Zeplin Radio)

Let me state, I'm not a fan of the Bridge. Tried it...hated it.

But I feel bad for you people that really enjoy the station (and it seems like there's a lot of you.) Sirius continues to crap all over you guys. I hope you get it back. I hate single artist channels!

I've actually been weaning myself off my Bridge fix these last few weeks, in anticipation of losing this channel. I just figured it would be due to the merger, not another stupid single artist channel.

I hope The Bridge returns with the new channel line-up, but I'd bet that won't happen. Probably won't return in January either, as I'm sure Zeppelin Radio will be extended by "popular demand".

Please Sirus XM put aside some channels for your payola in the future and leave our channels out of this.:bigahh:

Now we have conflicting info. Some were reporting that started Nov 14 the Pulse would move to Channel 12, now it seems Channel 12 will become Led Zeplin Radio.

I never believed that The Pulse was moving to channel 12.

I'm with yea!!!

I enjoy listening to The Bridge and I was glad it was back, but now it gone again! So it will probably be put on the internet feed?

I hope not. I say this because when it was it became an excuse for an extended absense. If it is not on the internet, then it will probably mean that it will return in January (as Zeller has said -- obviously not counting on popular demand).

I don't know, but January is only couple of months away. Hopefully it won't extend as a popular demand channel!

Ha!

What was the last fucking channel they replaced the Bridge for? It was about 5 months?

I dont trust these money starved fools.

They will sell the Bridge down the river like Mussolini!

I think when they took The Bridge off Channel 10 last year they said "E-Street radio would be done in March". I guess it might be ... they never specified a year.

I believe it was E-Street Radio, which seemed lasted for a long time.

Yea, but they did extend that channel do to popular demand!

Why I love The Bridge: 4 songs played tonight one after the other...
"Streets of London" by Ralph McTell, "Poetry Man" by Phoebe Snow, "Northern Sky" by Nick Drake, and "Heart Hotels" by Dan Fogelberg.

I love those songs, and nobody else is playing them!

Becoming a huge internet radio fan are we?

I like it, but it won't take the place of sat radio in my world, not just yet!

I am recording the last 24 hours of The Bridge with Replay AV. I will be able to listen to those from time to time. 4-6 hour segments. :)

I love Zeppelin and will probably get into this channel but I'm disappointed that they are getting ride of the Bridge again. It's such a great pop rock station and unique. As people have pointed out, you don't get these types of songs anywhere else.

All they need to do is get rid of E Street Radio (it's been on that channel for a long time already) and turn the channel into a monthly dedicated single artist channel. Rotate them out whenever you need to (such as promotions). That way, you don't have to fuck around with anyone's music.

E Street Radio is still around!?! I've had that thing on ignore for so long, I forgot it existed.

Monthly dedication sounds great. How do they determine those single artist channels anyway? New album, listener request?
