Hillary has said many times she will not run again. Kamala Harris has little support, even in her home state of California. Many voters consider Elizabeth Warren to be too liberal – but she had a great line last night during a CNN forum. When asked how she would respond to someone who says marriage should be between one man and one woman, she replied, "I'm going to assume it's a guy who said that. I'll say then just marry one woman. I'm cool with that – assuming you can find one."
Hillary won the popular vote in 2016 but lost in the 18th-century relic known as the Electoral College, which, five times now, has given the Presidency to a loser. Someday we will elect a female President. Will it be in 2020? Will it be Warren? Her chances would improve if Biden agreed to be her running mate. Or.....Biden could continue his Presidential bid with Warren as his running mate. Looking ahead to 2024 and 2028, could Kirsten Gillibrand, Jan Brewer, Nikki Haley, Tammy Duckworth, Marsha Blackburn, Ann Richards, Amy Klobuchar or Lisa Murkowski have a good chance of winning the White House?
What woman would be a good President? Or, by asking that question, am I asking for trouble?
