We both loved it so we went to the James Bean elevator shack and bought some. My wife had a second as well. After the concert she was wondering if she could be arrested for DUI for using her electric wheelchair for being a bit tipsy. I know people have been arrested on lawnmowers before.

The Livestrong site has a page on "How to cook Velveeta Shells & Cheese in the microwave." Ummm.....aren't the instructions
printed on the package? Anyway, here are the instructions:

Step 1. Unwrap a single-serve cup of Velveeta Shells & Cheese. Peel the lid halfway back. Do not detach the lid because
you must re-cover the cus to cook the pasta.
Step 2. Fill the cup of Velveeta Shells & Cheese with water to the fill line inside the cup. Fold the lid back over the cup.
Step 3. Place the cup of Velveeta Shells & Cheese in the microwave oven and heat it for three minutes on 100% power.
Step 4. Take the cup of Velveeta Shells & Cheese out of the microwave and stir in the cheese sauce. Do not drain the pasta.

So.....ten seconds to peel the lid back and add water, three minutes to heat the cup in the microwave and 20 seconds to stir in
the cheese sauce. Three and a half minutes. What is that woman doing wrong? Oh wait, maybe she has severe arthritis.

Where in those instructions, that mention the product name and brand 4 times, does it say total time is 3.5 minutes?

Velveeta Shells & Cheese are available from Amazon – everything is available from Amazon – and the instructions on Amazon's website say, "Simply combine pasta with water up to the fill line in the cup; microwave for 3.5 minutes; and stir in the cheese sauce mix." So the dum-dum in Florida failed to account for the time it takes to add the water and the cheese sauce.

That clearly says 3.5 minutes AND [then] stir in the cheese.
