I watched so much tv shows through out the years. Picking a top 5 is a bit hard. It would really it take me longer to think of it. Here are some

Breaking Bad
Big Bang Theory
Stranger Things
Married With Children
Will & Grace

I probably put Ted Lasso and Game of Thrones in my top 10.

Damn, Will & Grace should be somewhere on my list too.

And I agree, there are a ton of great shows that I've watched over the years.
All in the Family
Sanford & Son
The Jeffersons
Happy Days
Mork & Mindy
Laverne & Shirley
Wings
Taxi
The Drew Carey Show
King of Queens
ER
The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel
The Kominsky Method

I wouldn't have missed an episode of any of these, or the ones on my prior list. The only exception is where a couple of shows fizzled out, like The Office, Modern Family and ER. But I'd say my top 5 still stands.

I may need some time to recover from a few of these picks...
You say this?
Damn, Will & Grace should be somewhere on my list too.
And then you say this?

People who live in glass TV show judgment houses shouldn't throw stones.
This and Oz were the first shows I was old enough to like with my mom.

It debuted it's pilot in 1994 and Oz aired it's pilot on 1997.

ER had like 15 seasons. So by 1997 I was old enough to watch adult shows. However both ER and Oz had a lot of sex in them. I was way too young (14) to not squirm if anything sex related happened while near my mom so we had a plan. I would watch the shows in my room and she'd watch in the living room and then once they were over I would come to the living room and we'd talk about them.

I have really happy memories about that.

Anyway I'm not sure if ER deserves to be on my honorable mention list or I'm just being too nostalgic about it.

The modern ER remake, The Pitt, on HBO Max is good. So good Crichton's widow is suing them because it't too much of an ER ripoff.

Crazy how in the early 90's Michael Crichton had ER as the #1 hit drama that dethroned NYPD Blue on TV, Jurassic Park #1 at the box office and Disclosure as the #1 NY Times Bestseller all right around the same time.

That guy was awesome and remains my all time favorite author.

Have any of you watched Ghosts on CBS?

My Aunt Kath recommended it to me tonight so I've watched like four episodes and I'm digging it so far.

They just did a joke about a woman from like the Gilded Age or whatever having the vapers and I find that so incredibly hilarious......How anytime a woman tried to be a little bit independent all a man had to do was let her know she was having a case of the vapors and it was time for her to go take a nap....hahahahah sexism can be really funny in retrospect.

Here take a look. I have a history of thinking the term, The Vapers is super funny.

However I love the term "the vapors". It is my favorite sexist, 1800's term for whenever a woman is being a bit uppity. She has a case of the vapors and clearly needs to lay down.

I know the term had the vapers was used for women back in the twenties or whatever,

You're allowed to post this yet I still can't post a dick pic without Hectic getting a case of the vapors.

Anyway, check out the joke they did on ghosts season 1 episode 3. It really made me happy.

Ghosts is fun.

I‘ve got too many favorite shows to do justice to them all, but:
Breaking Bad
Better Call Saul
Scrubs
Seinfeld
Friends
Big Bang Theory
Ted Lasso
Married With Children

I have seen several of you list "Married WIth Children". I liked that series too but if we were listing favourite episodes the S4E1 "Hot Off The Grill" would be one of my favourites.

I've probably seen at least 30 episodes of married with children all the way through, but I can't name one specific episode.

Al bitches at peg, peg has a good comeback. The daughter is a floozy. The son has some little quips The neighbors come over Al makes fun of the girl cuz she looks like a lesbian and eventually Al's in the shoe store making fun of fat bitches.

That's how I remember the show. I'm pretty sure I'm kind of spot on there.

This is the episode description:

Al has a Labor Day barbecue, where he becomes aroused by the sight of Peg actually doing housework, and Steve and Marcy bring along the ashes of Marcy's aunt, whom Steve hated.

This would have to be the first time I've heard Three's Company called highbrow. When I think highbrow comedy I think Seinfeld, Archer, Curb Your Enthusiasm, none of which I'm into. Or maybe Cheers or Scrubs which I am into. Highbrow implies not cheap jokes for laughs (or a laugh track) and not screwball comedy. Three's Company would probably be in between the two.

It was a reference to the fact that sadchild's top 5 shows require a combined IQ of 57.
