2016 Movies & Tv Shows

just watched batman v superman. whew...i knew it was going to be bad going it but man it was worse than i imagined. tons of just awful cgi. a weak plot. really dumb introductions to all the dc heroes coming up. the score/sound effects were overwhelming. but there were a couple ok parts. jeremy irons as a jacked alfred was kinda cool. lex had this super hot sidekick so that was nice. and thats about it. everything else was awful. perhaps the saddest part was that chris nolan let his name be used as a producer in the credits. who knows what he was thinking. he has proven that he can make batman awesome. im sure he had very little to do with the actual production.

batman forever, batman and robin and now batman v superman are all in a very close fight for the most embarrassing batman movie of all time.

not sure why hbo would put this out seeing how revealing snows father is a big deal that they left unanswered in the season finale.

Last night, I finally saw Koop favorite cartoon group and the movie was cute.

that movie sucked (i know that without even seeing it) just like the tv cartoons.
 
Tonight I will see "Central Intelligence". Tomorrow I will see "The BFG". Sunday I will see "The Seven Year Itch". Wednesday I will see "The Secret Life of Pets". After that, only 2 more movies until I join the top most rank of the inner circle of the Alamo Victory Program. Unless of course there is a super secret inner inner circle only revealed to those in the inner circle. Everyone needs a goal.

"Central Intelligence" looks dumber than dumb.

I almost saw The Martian in theaters last year, so I'm finally getting around to watch it now and so far the movie is alright and way to long!
 
"Central Intelligence" was dumb, but pleasant. Dwayne Johnson is one charming MF, and this was a good vehicle for his charm. Gratiuitous Breaking Bad and "Roadhouse" references connected with me.
But
I was fascinated by how little race figured into the script. The leads could have been white. The target audience wasn't black or Samoan. There's a homoerotic subtext, but homosexiuality itself isn't played for humor, just the other character's discomfort with it.

"The BFG" was disappointing. Technically brilliant, but lacking any charm. Too long, dreary, not wicked or funny enough.

I never got to see The Martian either. There's a new Martian movie coming out soon The Space Between Us with Britt Robertson. Britt plays a young girl who falls in love with a Martian boy. I should have posted this on the space avatar
