2016 Movies & Tv Shows

I saw "Warcraft" tonight at the Alamo. One word review:

Warcrap.

im surprised you would see that knowing what types of movies you usually see there. i know you said there isnt much at your theater right now but why would you chose to see what you must have known was likely to suck?

I dig Duncan Jones. I played Warcraft for several years. I love going to movies at the Alamo.

i saw an indie gem from 2012 yesterday. "The History of Future Folk". its about these 2 aliens who come to earth to kill us all so their people can move in but then they hear music and love it and decide not to kill us and instead form a folk duo. its a silly buddy comedy thats just really nice, lite and fun. check it out.

and i cant get this song out of my head now.

HONDO!!

Last weekend I saw "Raiders of the Lost Ark" and "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly". Tonight I saw "The Shallows". It's about a shark that really wants to eat some lady. I thought it would be dumb and I was right.

Only 6 more visits to get to Top Brass in the Alamo Drafthouse Victory Program.

I picked up on the dark humor and parable of Wonka when I first saw it as a little kid.
The moral of the story was "kids that are dicks, have bad things happen to them," just like the old Grimm and other stories.

ID2 = not so great.

sounds about right. but thats one where ya kinda know its gonna be dumb on the way in but it still may be a fun, nostalgic time.

Free Jones was boring at the start but kind've got better as it went along.
But it's always nice to go to the cinema. I enjoyed my burger.

for me its 100% the movie that determines how my experience is. there is a nice ipic less than 2 miles from the cinemark i normally go to but im happy just going to see the movie. i never buy any food or drink either. im only there to see the movie so if it sucks the whole trip was worthless.

Yesterday I saw the new Independence Day movie, there was some great action. But kinda predictable like the first one.

after 2 years of production delays my most anticipated show of 2016 finally has a trailer.
