You left out The Streets of San Francisco, which I watched as a kid. Other than that, I never watched these shows, except Barney Miller, which was a comedy. And The Mod Squad, because Peggy Lipton was smoking hot.

On the February 9 1967 episode of Dragnet, Sgt. Joe Friday explained to undercover officer Paul Culver what it means to be a cop. Culver was played by Kent McCord, who had played Rick's fraternity brother Kent McWhirter in several episodes of The Adventures Of Ozzie & Harriet, 1962-66, and would play Officer Jim Reed on Adam-12, 1968-75.

No rush Wolfie.
Take your time and spread it out. No need to burn yourself out.
Hectic, trying to calm me down.

I'm not trying to rush it, it's good too know what the next madness is ahead of time. Makes everything easier on me sorting everything out.

Comedy teams or cop shows. Let's compromise. In Night Owls (1930), Edward Kennedy plays a police officer who persuades Laurel & Hardy to burglarize the chief's house so he can arrest them and look like a hero.

I've definitely watched more medical shows than cop shows. There's also a lot of legal shows.
You gave me an idea. This could almost be similar to our cartoon character madness. Having 4 tv themes shows cops, medical, legal and ???. Even though there are tons of shows in each theme. We would have to choose 64 shows in each theme. One good way it would eliminate the weak shows early and have really good ones in the tournament.

"Well, lissen up, pilgrim. You wanta have a fourth category? I say it's gotta be Westerns. Yes sir, Bonanza, Gunsmoke, Cheyenne, Laramie, Rawhide, Yellowstone, The Rifleman, The Virginian, The Big Valley, The Lone Ranger, Wagon Train.....heck, there are plenty of 'em."

If it's not sitcoms, game shows or cartoons, I haven't seen more than about 10 minutes of any of them.

Westerns? Nope. Cop shows? Nope. Medical shows? Nope. Soap operas? Nope. Reality shows? Nope. Variety shows? Nope. Sci-fi shows? Nope. Cooking shows? Nope. Talk shows? Nope (except for time spent in waiting areas at car dealerships).

Go ahead of course but I won't have much I can offer. With comedy teams, I can participate.

We will definitely do comedy teams. Most likely it will be 32 bracket and last like two weeks. I might set up a special madness before this big one with four different brackets.

I like the option of westerns. For sci-if that can be fun for its own separate bracket.
