How can October be here "before we know it"? It shouldn't surprise anyone. It always follows September – and when it's here, we will know it. Anyway, since I am a big Disney fan, I suggest we vote for our favorite Disney movies or our favorite Disney animated characters.

I have another suggestion – and please don't tell me what I can do with it. We could vote on legendary comedy teams, assuming we can think of at least 64. I thought of Laurel & Hardy, Abbott & Costello, Burns & Allen, Moran & Mack, Kenan & Kel, Hope & Crosby, Rowan & Martin, Stiller & Meara, Wheeler & Woolsey, Bob & Ray, Frick & Frack, Cheech & Chong, Smith & Dale, Key & Peele, Hudson & Landry, Olsen & Johnson, Martin & Lewis, the Marx Brothers, the Ritz Brothers, the Smothers Brothers and the Three Stooges.

One scene in an early episode of CHiPs was filmed here in Glendale while a section of the Glendale (2) Freeway was under construction. Jon and Ponch were chasing a car theft suspect eastbound on the Ventura (134) Freeway. He took the exit ramp to get to the northbound 2 – but the road suddenly ended in midair and he had to stop. Otherwise he would have fallen 30 feet. Splat! (Until construction was complete, concrete barricades blocked the ramp – except for the day the CHiPs episode was filmed.).

As long as they had kept their bus going over 50 mph they probably would have cleared it.

The ramp was unfinished and ended in midair, 12 feet past the left support in this picture. There was nothing to "clear." It was a long drop to the freeway.

We have done Disney characters which Mickey Mouse won the Disney bracket.

If we did did legendary comedy teams, it doesn't have to be 64. 32 is more realistic. There was an old kids comedy duo that were pretty popular here in the valley Wallace and Ladmo.


I hardly watched any Cop TV Shows and thanks to Jon lists. That surely can fill up our 64 or maybe 128 bracket.
