I don't even have an IPOD and besides I listen to my music from my computer. Why should we forced to fork out hundreds of dollars for an IPOD and hundreds just for all those songs we want. For the people who don't have an IPOD what are we suppose to do? We just hope this satellite service stays around even if bough by another company.aside from news(all bad and depressing anyway) it will be pretty much all about the i pod!

What would I do if they went under? I would listen to my MP3s on my SL2 for a little while. Then start harrassing Slacker to move the ball on coming to Canada. Whan that fails. I will get some non-apple MP3 player that could read my 8Gb microSD card.
Well, this topic is about what you think will happen if they go out of business.
Sirius filed for bankruptcy protections once before. Back in 2003 I believe...:right:
They can do it again if they so please. Just like Chrysler...![]()
Sirius has never filed for bankruptcy protection to my knowledge! They always manipulated the stock to get more money to keep things going.
In October 2002, reportedly edging close to bankruptcy, Sirius announced a recapitalization plan that would convert $700 million in debt and $525 million in preferred stock into common stock, with Oppenheimer Global Funds, Blackstone Group LP, and affiliates of Apollo Management LP providing an additional $200 million in cash to keep it afloat. The plan was approved by shareholders the following March, and they also agreed to the issuance of $200 million worth of new stock. Following the reorganization, the total number of shares Sirius had outstanding would balloon from 80 million to nearly 1 billion.
