Various Thoughts

In all seriousness, feral children are probably more common than we think. There was an absolutely heartbreaking story out of Florida about ten years ago involving a girl was was locked up in absolutely disgusting conditions. It probably made the studio bathroom look sanitary.

After intense rehabilitation therapy, she was adopted and now goes by the name of Danielle Lierow. She'll probably never be "normal" but she has a wonderful family.

Look up "The Girl In The Window" if you have a moment to read her story.

wow. i just now read a bit about her and that's a crazy story. poor girl.

when did ronnie leave his first wife?

cause i'm listening to the embedded segment now and he said he was 56 when stephanie first told her parents about him. he's 67 now so that would mean this went down in 2006. hmm...

I'm thinking it was around that time frame. "06. Didn't his wife object to him going to Scores at the time?

I think the divorce was before he met Stephanie. I do think the wife didn't like Scoresman, but I do believe there was a respectable bachelor gap for him.

This week they played the interchange between Howard, Brent and Ronnie. Had to do with Ronnie appearing as a Star of Satellite Radio or something like that. Other than satisfying his desire to bully his staff 24/7, I don't understand why Howard shut down all of the staff side-shows. They provided some great material. Remember and Gary was mocked and booed appearing as an MC at a stripper show (or something like that?). Ronnie invariably goes over the top whenever he appears. His complaint that they harm his brand is bullshit.

Yet Howard did the very gross George(the other George) birthday show. He is always interested in the smallest details of taking a shit, getting laid, masturbation etc ...not to mention his series of Ronnie sex tips.. As for whose decision it was to shut down the side-shows... sure he supposedly has that female executive who wants to emphasize his interviewing skills ( I am torn between the old Howard winging it and letting the interview go with the flow and the new prepared Howard who covers his outline) but you know Howard is the boss when it comes to ordering his staff around...

Howard, this week, saying something like this: "I am really pissed at Sal. He refused to do a cock sword fight with Richard. He said 'I don't do that'. What does he think he was hired for? His wit? He was hired to run around with his cock out." and on and on with Robin doing a little piling on...

I am not a fan of Sal. He makes up stuff to get air time. He is often feeling sorry for himself. He is a bigot. He's usually not funny to me (he has done a few great bits). But here's a guy who has put in thousands of hours doing phony phone calls, going through William Shatner, Dolly Parton and endless other audio books to patch together unfunny bits, going to Harlem to conduct demeaning interviews of homeless people... etc etc. He has, I think, worked his ass off to please Howard. Yet Howard, dictator style, dismisses all of that with a wave of his hand because Sal balked at doing a homo bit (I am sure he could envision his sons getting ridiculed for doing said sword fight). That's Howard in monster mode.

That's Howard in monster mode.
To be fair, Howard has to either be doing interviews, discussing the news, telling old stories, playing a game, or ragging on the staff. So if he's not tearing-down a staffer, he'd have to do more interviews.

I am drawn to his monster mode like a moth to the fire. I hate the cruelty but I love the entertainment... It's not really like going to a hanging... but I am always fascinated by Howard's total lack of "feelings" at times like that. My favorite was when he left Gary's gourmet chef dinner party before the main course came. It did not occur to him that he was being a monster. Artie was aghast.

You didn't mention the best part. Gary had a like a quartet of violinists playing just outside, due to lack of space inside, for ambiance. He left the doors open so party goers could hear the music inside.

Howard gets cold, so he shuts the doors! Imagine you're one of the violinists. You're doing your job, and a giant, brunette pelican shuts the door on you.

Artie made a joke that Gary ended up paying for them to play to the deer.

I also couldn't believe the day-after-day bashing of Gary's super bowl party (which Howard didn't even attend). Here are Howard's main gripes:
- Gary served food during the game.
- Gary's home theater room had some chairs, and some barstools. Some people sat on the barstools.
- There may have been contact between people - high-fives, eating appetizers served from a common tray, etc.
- People drank during the game.

I really really wished someone (ideally someone famous) could've just smacked Howard upside the head, told him to stop his rant, and report directly to his therapist until he stops thinking like this.

i think jason is one of the VERY rare cases where he looks better as a fatso.

#WrapUpShow: @robertAbooey ranks himself on the #SternShow staff "fat scale" and recalls @Siriusjay's skinny pic: https://goo.gl/Fi7TtM

after seeing the pic in this link:

it appears to me his head is freakishly large. it fits better on a fat frame:

Problem is his face may not reveal how fat he is in that picture. He could be rounder than a m*****f****n' grape!
