Andy Cohen was his usual witty and no holds barred self. He told a story about a 3-way that was entertaining, but it took like 45 minutes and could've been told in 10. So either you'll be titillated or bored.

This forum shows why I need a new radio in my car. I have a Sportster 7(?) and all appears to work, but when it's in the car, the radio doesn't get power. It works in the SUBX1, but not in the car. The power adapter lights up, but the radio doesn't turn on. When it *does* turn on, it usually turns off right away.
I've been thinking about the Onyx Plus... I may have to bite the bullet and negotiate my way out of the Sirius radio swap fee.
The bad side is that I'd be listening to the same part of the show on the way home from work as the way there.
Also...an Android SkyDock? They missed a market there.

That's the VERY likely suspect. However, at the price of a new dock, I might as well go all-in. I don't want to get a dock and then have it be something else, ya know?
The downside is that I'd have to replace the SUBX1...or just live with the phone app.
Speaking of that...did the app remove the 90-minute tineout which was so prevalent on the Stiletto and others around that err uhh era?
Going into today's James Taylor segment, they played a Swap Shop bit where "Barack Obama" wanted to sell various things like the original Constitution, some of Monica's panties, etc. The guy knew he was being had and kept hanging up.

Hank was more prolific to his credit. That appearance with both in studio was fantastic!
They just played the Boston-area Boch Toyota TV commercial that ends with "Hit 'em with the Heiiiiiiinnnnnnn!!!". I noticed the commercial a few days ago, and I was hoping it'd get noticed by THSS. Ernie Boch Jr. is a friend of a friend. He's also the billionaire son of the guy who started the dealership chain, which is the largest in New England. And he's also a super cool guy; he's a guitarist in a band called Ernie And The Automatics, and he's a huge rock & roll fan and philanthropist.
It is absolutely scary how much the Google algorithm knows. I'm listening to Celine Dion do Feliz Navidad on a custom mix of Holly and I type "release" into Google.
Caught a portion of a typical Gary-Sal bit. Ever since Sal joined up, Gary has had a proprietary interest in Sal. He has produced Sal bits (tattling on Sal) basically showing how stupid or racist Sal is. This one was setting up Sal to delete unused bits and hoping he deleted the one where he looked particularly stupid and then having Howard confront him for doing it. The unused bit appeared to have been deleted and Howard did the confronting. Sal said it was not deleted but only transferred to a temporary folder. That took the air out of the bit but Howard soldiered on insisting Sal was lying. I sensed Sal was about to concoct a different lie to extend the bit and lost interest. How did it turn out?
Not familiar with that particular bit. The most recent Sal stuff I've heard is all about being gay.
A couple of thoughts from today's show:
- The Greg Lake tribute was nice. Howard was a fan of ELP and King Crimson back in the day, and Lake has been a guest on the show. At the same time, I can't get the thought out of my head, that if Howard wasn't a personal fan, he would've scoffed at the mention of the guy.
- Howard talked about how he really doesn't want any gifts this year, and how the gifts he's received in the past all sucked, and that he threw everything out. He even mocked Gary for personally giving him a holiday card with a family picture on it.
- He began the show by talking about spending the weekend folding his clothes, according to a book about organization. It's funny how Howard's stupid interests and habits are so wonderful, but everyone else's are silly.

my takeaway from monday's show was mostly about richard. i enjoyed the bobo and fantasy talk but learning that rich and the mrs will pack up and go all the way to austria for a weekend is something i think is really cool. now austria would be way down on the list of foreign countries i would ever care to visit but just the fact that he is willing to commit to such a crazy weekend adventure makes me respect him.
the money clip is sitting on the counter laughing at me: "you tried to throw me out you fucking asshole". everything is horrible!
