Last night I watched The Waltons' Homecoming on the CW network. It's a remake of the 1971 TV-movie that led to the 1972-81 television series The Waltons. In one scene, John-Boy has written a story for The Boston Arts Scholarship Competition. He addressed the envelope to "1815 Redwood St., Boston MA 02122." The movie is set in 1933. The Postal Service did not create ZIP Codes and two-letter state abbreviations until 1963!

I was wondering how old George was when they filmed the Jetson's, and what year that would have been.

We came to the conclusion that I probably won't still be alive at that point.
