Democrats, Republicans, ethics experts and watchdog groups alike were understandably outraged by Trump's decision to host next year's G7 summit at his resort in Miami. Using the Presidency for personal gain is unconstitutional. In announcing that he'd changed his mind, Trump tweeted, "I thought I was doing something good for our country." In truth, what he was planning would have been good only for himself. And he couldn't make his announcement without attacking his two favorite targets:

Trump will no longer host G7 at his Doral resort due to 'Media & Democrat Crazed and Irrational Hostility'

Uhh, did you look at the post above?

Yes I did. You posted the CNN story. I posted the Washington Post story. Here at DRC, we get our news from a variety of sources so we stay better-informed. We also would never hold a G7 summit at DRC headquarters.

In 1993, the Supreme Court ruled in Nixon vs United States that the impeachment process is a political issue and can not be resolved in the courts. However.......

Mick Mulvaney told reporters Trump made a quid pro quo offer to Ukraine. Then the news media reported that Mulvaney admitted Trump made a quid pro quo offer to Ukraine. Then Mulvaney declared there was no quid pro quo offer to Ukraine and said the news media "misunderstood" his earlier admission that Trump made a quid pro quo offer to Ukraine. Referring to his statement that Trump made a quid pro quo offer to Ukraine, Mulvaney said, "I didn't say that." This is starting to sound reminiscent of Abbott and Costello's "Who's on first" routine. Appearing today with Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday, Mulvaney continued to blame reporters for "misunderstanding" his words. Wallace showed the video of Mulvaney's admission. There was nothing to misunderstand. Bloomberg is reporting that White House advisers are making a list of potential replacements for Muvaney if he gets fired. The list includes Chris Christie and former acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker.

Chris Crispy Cream?!??! hahahaha. Wow a new mess to clean up every couple of hours. Good on chris wallace, he's been doing his best, I guess. More than other fox peeps. The Squid Pro Row scandal had to go this way right? Show these animals what they did yesterday and they won't admit it happened. Like we never went to the moon. I'd respect anyone of them just the slightest if they sat there and said "you know what Chris, you got me. I can't do this anymore. Can I hug you and forget the whole thing?" hehehehe, Veiny. heh

Trump blamed "crazed and irrational hostility" from Democrats and the news media – his two favorite targets – for the reversal of his decision to host the G7 summit at his Doral resort. We now know the real reason: self-preservation.

The Los Angeles Times said Trump's cabinet meeting quickly devolved into "71 minutes of gripes, grievances, defensiveness and bold statements about his expansive view of his own powers." Trump also falsely claimed the whistleblower "gave a false account" of the phone call with Zelensky and has been "discredited."

Trump: GOP needs to be tougher on impeachment
During his first cabinet meeting since July, the President said
Democrats are trying to hurt Republicans ahead of 2020.

Article I, Section 8, Paragraph 9 of the Constitution bars public officials from accepting cash or gifts from foreign governments without Congressional approval. Forty-four United States Presidents knew that. The 45th President, however, apparently doesn't even know we have a Constitution.

I'm going to guess - based on the exponentially increasing frequency of your posting here - that this forum's hurtling towards lock-down.
