Easy there Jon.Trump launches war on unions - POLITICO
I don't know, are unions irrelevant at this point? Or does this set the stage for a Congressional war for 2018, could the democrats win back the House and/or Senate then? The union leaders have always been skeptical of Trump. It's the rank and file that voted him in. Wonder if they're regretting that.
Looks like now would be a good time to get that "Don't blame me I voted for Gary Johnson" sticker on my car.![]()
I'm not a big fan of the death penalty (probably should only be reserved for true monsters like serial killers) but if they are gonna do it I got no problem with a fire squad or hanging. Cheap, effective, and relatively painless. They should give them a choice of those two.stuff like this is troubling:
Witness: Condemned Alabama man coughed, heaved during execution - CNN.com
now the electric chair seems brutal and if people are heaving for 13 mins thats also pretty brutal so whats so wrong with the firing squad? now i get that any sort of lethal punishment could probably be considered cruel and unusual but if we are going to do it a shot to the heart seems like a quick enough option. or change it up and have a couple snipers go for head shots. whats quicker than that?
