i like olbermann. not sure why, there are tons of snarky talking news heads but for some reason i dig his delivery. i guess i also like how he, without fail, always winds up getting fired for fighting with his bosses. i dont agree with him a lot of the time, i dont even agree with this video im posting, it just popped up on my youtube feed and i was happy to see he has a new gig with GQ. i looked it up and i guess they hired him to cover the election in a web series a few months ago. this is the first i heard of it.

I like him too, but from a different perspective. He's well informed, well researched, intelligent, and factual. And he can deliver all that, in a way that's cathartic to those who think along the same lines. I used to be one of those who needed to hear him make a strong argument each night on MSNBC.

But he's a perfect example of "preaching to the choir". The very people who voted for Trump are the least likely to ever want to listen to Olbermann. And those who do (like you) will just ignore the substance of what he's saying.

I haven't tuned to MSNBC for years. I realized that I already knew everything they were going to say, and I also knew that they weren't going to change anybody's minds. About a year before Jon Stewart left The Daily Show (maybe a little longer) I felt that Stewart himself had made that very same realization. I knew it was just a matter of time before he left.

I'm glad that Pat Buchanan is happy, now my life is complete.

Problem is, Trump is not a nationalist. He wants to go around the world, bombing terrorism into oblivion (an impossible concept). He wants to steal oil from sovereign nations. He wants to increase the size of our military, and spend billions more on border security, all while reducing tax revenue, which will skyrocket the debt. So how is he a nationalist?
