Morning Mashup coming to XM

Yeah and I've been filling out those WutChaWant surveys on Hits 1 for a long time and I just registered for the 20 on 20, so this appears to mean for now they aren't combining these channels.
 
Actually, the Morning Mashup is not that bad of a morning show, IMHO. It's better than the Morning Zoo, Scott & Todd, and whatever other crap we get on NYC radio.
 
Did anyone catch the Morning Mashup on XM today? I couldn't catch it on XM, but from the Sirius side, it was business as usual. Asking listeners to call 1-866-33-SIRIUS, "Sirius....Hits 1" station idents, no mention of XM. It was as if they were doing a custom show for XM and Sirius (which doesn't take too long nowadays with voicetracking.)
 
I did catch about 15 minutes of it and while they gave the Sirius 800 number the station ID's were for 20 on 20 channel 20 on XM.

I don't have Sirius anymore to see if the shows were exactly the same, but I would imagine it is easy to substitute station idents.
 
just checked this morning's mashup show on both platforms. most of the time, the hosts' banters are the same, but early on XM's side, they were playing stuff from Monday's show (reason I know is they kept on talking about How I Met Your Mother, which airs on Monday, and how people don't want to go back to work because it's Monday.) The bantering was the same after about 6:30, but their playlist is still platform specific. The songs on Hits 1 aren't the ones being played on 20 on 20.
 
I wish I could understand why they go through all of the trouble keeping Hits 1 and Top 20 on 20 separate. Just merge the channels and get on with it.
