How does your state work?

In Massachusetts, north of Boston near the NH border, is Lawrence. It's a famously shitty city. It's bordered by Andover, one of the nicest towns in the state. Half of the real estate in Lawrence doesn't even mention the city, it just says "Andover line".

The other bordering town is Methuen. They advertise property in the prestigious "East Methuen" or "West Methuen" sections, because they are farther from Lawrence than the center of Methuen.

But in general, our towns are divided by niceness. So when you go from a nice one to a crappy one, it's defined by town name.

In New Jersey, South Orange and West Orange are super ritzy, while Orange and East Orange are dumps.

This also brings up an interesting point about subtleties in town names. Like Lynnfield and Lynn. Or Bronxville - one of the wealthiest towns in Westchester County NY - and Bronx, NY. Or (as mentioned above) West Orange NJ, home of the renowned "The Manor" function facility

and East Orange NJ, a city bordering crime-and-drug-infested Newark NJ.

Was that house built during the gilded age?

Cause if anyone's building a house like that today, they should be ashamed of themselves. Even if it is from the gilded age they should still be ashamed of themselves. Estates like that belong in England where everybody sounds gay and they've got kings and shit.

I grew up in Huntingdon Valley which was a little village (I'm pretty sure it's literally zoned as a village) bordering Lower Moreland township and NE Philly. Quite opposite to what you're saying about East and West Orange, both Lower and Upper Moreland were just normal suburbs.

The Philly city limits are huge. The part of the Northeast that almost bordered my little suburban village certainly wasn't the super rich section of the city, but if you could have suburbs within the city limits, that's what the Northeast would be to the rest of Philly.

So that place isn't somebody's residence. It's purpose is to hold functions? If that's the case, it makes it a bit better.

Either way, if you have an atrium or a conservatory or whatever you call that glass dome thing off to the right. You obviously have never learned anything about tastefulness.

Yes. Any place that has its own limerick should be avoided.

There once was a man from Nantucket......

An Argentine gaucho named Bruno
Said “Humping is one thing I do know.
A woman is fine,
and a sheep is divine:
but a llama is ‘numero uno'”.

It would be way more relatable if they substituted Manatee for llama.

Good God bro. It's hard to rival Trump with all his like fucking gold bullshit, but this place is a serious contender.

I hope that picture is from when they were hosting Prince?

Otherwise there is no excuse.
It's actually from a page about The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Trump has his golf courses, and now-bankrupt casinos in NJ.
