Let me know if any of you have tried these. I haven't, but I've seen the ads, and it doesn't interest me in the least.
First of all, they turn the product into this endearing character; except that it gives me the mental image that the sandwich will taste like foam. Then there's the matter of the perforated edge. Isn't that similar to a crust?
Finally, there's the preparation.
"Keep Uncrustables sandwiches frozen until ready to eat. Thaw 30 to 60 minutes at room temperature. Enjoy our classic crimped sandwiches within 8 to 10 hours of thawing for best flavor. We do not recommend preparing Uncrustables sandwiches in the toaster or air fryer or in the microwave."
So I guess you can pack them to go, but they're not very useful to eat at home, unless you planned your day around them. Is this really an improvement on the PB & J sandwich? Has anyone been asking for one?
