This is a tough one. She's rough in the mugshot but looks cute in her court clothes covering her face. I'd say 200 hours community service would have been more appropriate for stabbing her bf 100 times.
If this is what weed can do, why is it being legalized? This is nuts.

She's not hot enough to be absolutely not guilty.

It's not. This was debunked over a hundred years ago. I have never - nor have I ever heard second hand - of a case where cannabis caused violent behavior.

I'm still bewildered by your mission to demonize cannabis, when alcohol has caused millions of deaths. Should people drive high? Absolutely not. That's as dangerous as driving drunk or on drugs.

Did you read the story? This was the whole crux of her defense and the testimony supporting that.

From the article:

The judge ruled that Spejcher 'experienced a psychotic break from reality' and 'had no control over her actions' when she killed Chad O'Melia, then 26, on Memorial Day weekend 2018.

She will spend the 100 hours educating others on marijuana-induced psychosis and two years on probation - but has promised to spend the rest of her life debunking the myth that cannabis is harmless.

Yes, I did read the article, and it's bullshit. It's obviously a way to get her out of her predicament.

With widespread usage going back to the 1960s, I'm surprised you'd buy into the idea that there's suddenly some revelation about this "mystery weed".

Bryn Spejcher? Or did they get mixed up and it's actually Brej Sphyncter?

As for weed, I'm against it. I don't know if it can or can't produce psychosis but it wouldn't surprise me if it can.

From the article:

Dr Mohandie warned against widespread legalization of the psychoactive drug.

'So people say, "It's just marijuana," and they try and make it seem like it's insignificant and how could that possibly happen.

'Well, that doesn't really fit with my professional experience.

This went before a judge and an opposing attorney/DA. If it was easily disproved, would it not have been in court?

I don't think it is widespread. If it was, here in Toronto we would all be raving lunatics. There are more weed stores here than Tim Horton's. But I do note that every pot smoker I have ever met seems to be very defensive about it. It always is a miracle drug which can fix everything and not addictive but they think everybody should be doing it and they have no intention of stopping. My personal opinion has always been might as well be legal and taxed. No more harmful than alcohol (actually likely less) or nicotine. But that opinion did not consider the psychosis.

STONER ANNOYANCE FACTOR (0-10):
In the spirit of fostering peace and harmony here at DRC, let me offer this thought. A large percentage of cannabis users take edibles. If people took an edible before a concert instead of smoking in the venue, it would no longer tarnish your concert-going experience, and everyone would be happy. So here's to hoping that everyone takes this into consideration.

That factor is strictly for my annoyance from having to breath the smoke. The edible users do not annoy me.

Digital Radio Central, a virtual town square,
Bringing people together who care,
About radio, its past, and its future flair,
A forum where voices rise with no scare.

So let us all embrace this digital space,
Where Radio's secrets find a place,
And where ideas are never erased,
Digital Radio Central, a forum of grace.

As long as that brownie doesn't cause....

...CANNABIS INDUCED PSYCHOSIS...

which I don't particularly buy into either. Maybe it's a one in a zillion kind of thing. It's much more likely to cause....

...CANNABIS INDUCED SNACK-OSIS...

IDK I think both of you can be right. Weed induced psychosis may be a thing but it's so rare it's not worth factoring into discussions about legalization.

Anyone can have a bad reaction to any drug...like 5 ppl died from the COVID shot but that's not enough of a sample size for the rest of the public to have any concern about its safety.

There will always be outliers. They shouldn't be dismissed but they also should not be given too much credence.

There have been some pretty clear not guilty women in the history of this thread but nothing compares to this poor lady being persecuted for her wonderful community service.

She even looks hot in a suicide vest after clearly some time in jail, that's a feat right there!

Also 12 is a little young but 13 is 7th grade. I clearly remember looking at girls like her on AOL chatroom porn. Like where different people would trade pics that would take forever to download at 56k. So a girl like her was literally my fantasy at that age.

This poor, poor woman. Sometimes the system is so unjust. It's stories like this that make me understand when women say the system is unfair to them.

From Howard Stern 10/31/2002:

Howard: I'm stuck talking about the Winona Ryder trial ... You know, Winona Ryder's clothing at the trial yesterday was see-through?
Robin: What?
Howard: Yeah, like you could see her bra and her panties through her dress and her shirt.
Artie: No kidding?
Robin: Who's dressing her for this trial? Are they telling her what to wear?
Howard: I think it's a smart move, in a way. I think there's something afoot.
Artie: Is it a guy judge?
Howard: I think that there's a lot of guys on the jury and when guys start voting with their penis, they're like "Hey, my penis says not guilty."

...

Howard: And guys, when they've got a boner - I'm telling you it's a smart thing to have a girl in bra in panties showing through, because when guys have a boner they don't think straight. Like, "What'd she do? Cut off a price tag and shove something in a bag? I could care less, not guilty. Who cares? I wouldn't care if she cut someone's head off and shoved it in a bag if she's willing to give me an up close and personal look.
Robin: You can get away with murder.

...

Howard: "Gentlemen of the jury, what's your verdict?" "Your honor, it's unanimous. My penis and I agree: Not guilty!"
