Galaxy Note 4/best Buy Pre-order Thread

I'm amazed at how fast it charges too. Factory charge was at just over 50% when I picked it up.
Lots of time tinkering with it throughout the day, I was down to something like 17 or 18% after 6:30 or so. We were heading out to see some friends, so I charged it up. Roughly an hour and a half and it was at 100%. Haven't plugged it in since and it's still at 70% with more solid usage today. I'm looking forward to seeing what it can do with my normal use habits.
Still trying to get it set up the way I like it. Trying to find the ringtones I like from my old phones/archives, getting the rest of my accounts set, icons and widgets where I want them.

The hardest part of changing phones is getting them setup to once again be like you had them previously.
It took me a few days to get everything setup the way I wanted.
Now that everything is setup... its all about attempting to root the phone.
Void the Software Warranty by tripping KNOX or wait for someone to come out with a root that wont trip KNOX. I hate KNOX.
I still don't like my ringer, but haven't found my old ones yet.
I'm digging the split screen and window resizing features. Lots of interface options I'm still getting familiar with.
Just started tinkering with the stylus, and there's a lot goodness to be found in that.
I haven't charged it since 8ish Thursday night, and it's still got 30% left in it. It'll be after next week when I'm on a regular schedule, but I already think the battery won't disappoint me.
I can't wait to get a holster. I hate putting phones in my pockets.

It'll take a little getting used to. It recognizes the letters well enough, but the rhythm for spacing will take some practice, and I'm used to lettering (all caps) instead of printing, so those results show up a little funny. My old Samsung Omnia from back in the day, had the handwriting recognition, and once I got used to that, it worked out really well.

I'm loving my Note 4. The screen is just unbelievable. I'm used to having a Samsung phone so no real learning curve.

It is an awesome phone, for sure.
Its leaps and bounds better than my Note 2.
My Note 2, like the new iPhone 6's, are so 2012!
My favorite feature so far is changing the channel on my wife while she has the remote in her hand because I dont wanna watch what she is watching on TV.

Man this phone has some damn good battery life. Samsung and Motorola have got it down.
Motorola put out the Droid Turbo today with a QHD screen and a 3900 mAh battery. That thing will last and last. If your into the Android OS you have a lot of really great options. 64gb version on contract is $249. That's an awesome price for a QHD screen that storage and that battery. Plus a 21 MP camera. Holy shit!

I unplugged Thursday evening around 7:00 pm and still have 54% battery left. I'm still not on a regular use pattern yet, but damn good results so far.
It amazes me how quickly it boots up in the morning too.
I'm getting used to the size very quickly too. Everything but having to put it in my pocket for now. I ordered a holster that should be here mid-week. that should help.

I need a holster for mine, but I would have to order a seidio case to do that.
The only problem I have is that the Seidio Holsters only last me a year and they cost $55 with the kickstand case.

I bought a spigen wallet case. It's super nice. It's a kickstand type case too. I just love it. Got it on Amazon for about $16.
By The Way How Bad Ass is this phone. Battery life, awesome screen and the S pen is very useful.

Granted, I haven't been streaming any music, and I've only watched a couple of videos , but it's holding on. I don't normally use a lot of power on the weekend unless I'm doing yard work with the headphones, but this is good.
