Foster was a member of The Sylvers with his siblings James, Leon, Ricky, Edmund, Pat, Angie, Charmaine and Olympia-Ann. Among the Sylvers' 1970s hits are Hot Line, High School Dance, Fool's Paradise, Any Way You Want Me and the 1976 number one Boogie Fever. The group disbanded in 1985.
