Cost her an arm but not a leg?I'm watching Northwest Law right now and some chick got hit by a boat propeller.
Not so fun fact: my aunt (my mom's brother's wife) from the side of the family I have no contact with cause my mom's bro is bad news, got her arm chopped off by a boat propeller in the 90's. I saw her once afterwards. She had a car that was all done up for a one armed person. I think she got a bunch of money from a lawsuit afterwards.
Ha. I was at a work zoom party drinking. The irony.I can't believe I've beat IRBS to this question (maybe he's off waxing his head), but does she know about the drinking?
Just a word of advise, if you tell her you are N days sober and have kicked the drinking habit, you cannot be seen drinking by her ever.I told her about the DUI & jail stint today actually. Like 3 hours ago. She was super cool about it. I'll figure out a time to tell her about more recent, non-criminal drinking related issues. Also, if the last one taught me anything it's that I won't be making those same mistakes.
I wasn't sure how/when to tell her about the DUI. Like I said, it's still rather early, but she shared some stuff with me so I figured that was a good time to get it out there.
You should be.I'm not one to object
