Dang! Eliminated first round. Which one did I miss?

Back in the day, I didn't even listen to radio stations that would play the En Vogue song. But today, if you separate the music from who's performing it (and what they represented back then), it's a well-written, catchy, funky R&B song. So if I was in the car with the Mrs, with one of her pop channels on, we would definitely groove to it.

Any rock music fans who hadn't already abandoned the pop scene before the grunge era, did so then. So I don't know who cared about what was happening to pop by this time, except for those who like pop. And really, is it any different than Donny Osmond singing "Puppy Love"?

I like their cover of "I'm A Believer" (not the weird slow version, the one used in Shrek). Anything else I've heard from them I can't stand. That includes "Walking On The Sun".

Uggh maybe 2 good songs for me, Ironic and Give Me One Reason.
The Macarena for me was like the death knell of pop music, my disdain for that song likely caused me to even more avoid late 90’s radio and stick with classic rock. (I got burnt out on that too, but that’s another story)
