Rockpile seems about right, Supertramp seems higher than I expected, Bowie seems much lower, Skateaway a little low, and Horizontal Bop seems pretty low to me.

#62 Supertramp "Breakfast In America"
#72 Dire Straits "Skateaway"

I was only 10 at the time, so I wouldn't know how big they were then. But looking back, I would think these could have been top 40s.

#77 Bob Seger "The Horizontal Bop"

Peaked at #42. That's why it seems low.

#87 Al B Sure "Killing Me Softly"
I recall hearing this abomination frequently. Glad it did not break the 40 but a bit surprised.

33: CALIFORNIA GIRLS - DAVID LEE ROTH

Not about this song (although its video plays at the beginning), I showed my son the video for "Gigolo/Got Nobody". At the end he said, "Thanks for wasting 4 minutes of my life".

...b-but I still think it's funny.

17: DO THEY KNOW IT'S CHRISTMAS - BAND AID

I have a big rule in my house. No Xmas music before Thanksgiving or after Christmas day. Otherwise I get sick of them. So this came on my family was celebrating that there was a Christmas song playing outside of that five week window.

4: EASY LOVER - PHILIP BAILEY & PHIL COLLINS

My guess at #1 this week.

My two cents for the week.... :)

37: TENDERNESS - GENERAL PUBLIC
One of my favorite 80s songs. I remember taping this one on cassette while listening to the countdown.

36: MISTAKE NO. 3 - CULTURE CLUB
Glad this one made the 40. It was played on the Quiet Storm in my city too.

23: OPERATOR - MIDNIGHT STAR
Not a bad song, but surprised to see this one so high on the chart.

Will never reach the top 40

#48 George Benson "20/20"
I had to take a listen to remember this one.

#54 Temptations "Treat Her Like A Lady"
This one charted well in the UK.

#59 Bronski Beat "Small Town Boy"
I had no idea this charted in the US at all.

#64 Barbra Streisand/Kim Carnes "Make No Mistake, He's Mine"
I don't remember this one, but I like the pairing.

#75 Kim Wilde "Go For It"
Kim should have had more hits in the US.

#84 Eugene Wilde "Gotta Get You Home Tonight"
This one popular on the R&B chart and charted well in the UK.

#85 Paul Hardcastle "Rain Forest"
This was in heavy rotation on R&B stations. It peaked at #5 on the R&B chart.

#99 Frankie Goes To Hollywood "Two Tribes"
I completely agree with everyone. This is an amazing song that deserved more exposure.
