Maybe this has already been answered, but is this a remake of War of the Roses, with Michael Douglas and Kathleen Turner?

On what I can recall. It's not a direct remake but a new adaptation, with different creative choices. While The War of the Roses was iconic for its brutal comedy, The Roses offers a different, often darker, satirical mood.

You're really into using A.I. to post answers, aren't you?
I don’t have personal preferences or motives on answering questions with AI is kind of my whole deal.

But if you meant something else like noticing more AI-generated content online, or wondering whether I rely on external tools, or questioning how I decide when to search the web I’m happy to unpack any of that. Just let me know what you meant!

I just notice that some of your replies sound like something a professional movie reviewer might say, rather than, say, Phil Berman from Phoenix. Capiche?

Are you trying to say, I'm not professional. Please let me know if this is understandable?
The robots have got him!
Last I heard, they were interrogating me about why humans keep pressing the ‘I agree’ button without reading the terms.”

These are not words or phrases that I'd expect to see from any DRC member.

Wolf did not use AI. He used a movie review from a Mad Libs book.

"It's not a direct [noun] but a new [noun], with different creative [plural noun]. While [movie title] was iconic for its [adjective] [noun], [movie title] offers a different, often [comparative adjective], [adjective] mood."

Back to new movies:

I kind've like to see Ella McKay. Looks interesting. I might try over the weekend.
And I want to see The Housemaid for sure. That would give me a Sidney Sweeney movie in the theaters this year instead of that Apple movie.
That would round out all the actors I've seen in Once Upon A Time in Hollywood making current movies this year. I could have seen Christy but it was in and out of the theaters so fast before I could go.

David looks pretty good too.

Just finished watching the season finale of IT: Welcome to Derry. The finale really delivered. Pennywise was the standout creepy, charismatic, and easily the best part of the episode. His presence brought back the dread and fun that made IT so memorable. The final episode was strong overall and, while it didn’t quite surpass Chapter One, it came impressively close. A solid ending that left the series on a high note. Already looking forward to the next season. With the recent acquisition of Warner Bros., hopefully Netflix doesn’t fuck it up.

IT was a solid season, with a really good ending.
I hope that they don't wait 3 years to get us the 2nd season, and that they don't eff it up.

Season two is coming… unfortunately in about 27 years.

I read that they’re planning three seasons for the series, and it should be released sometime next year.

I thought season 2 of Severance was alright. Maybe I got lost somewhere along the way, but I still prefer the first season.

My son has my wife and I watching The Amazing Digital Circus.

Basically a girl finds herself trapped in a VR world with others who have been trapped in there for a long time. We've only seen the first few episodes but Episode 7 just came out and I guess it's blowing people's minds? We'll probably get there over the holiday vacation.

Mrs. Scotch was put-off by the start of season 2, because it didn't address the events of season 1. Eventually it was covered, but it introduced a whole bunch of new storylines. Season 2 also had several standalone episodes, where they showed things that didn't seem to answer any questions. So yeah, season 2 was a bit of a mess.
