I thought of dropping some networks. I clearly subscribe to many networks. Few of them, I pay the yearly fee which is spread out every couple of months. Most of these networks, new stuff comes out or we enjoy watching old movies and tv series.

Apple TV
Disney/Hulu/Max
Direct TV (access from a family member)
Netflix
Paramount
Peacock
Prime
Shudder
WOW - RuPaul Drag Network

The wow network is for my partner and the Shudder network is for me.

I don't know what we have, I barely watch TV. I know we have Netflix and Disney. We had Apple for a trial but don't know if she canceled before we start getting charged. Then our Verizon plan gave us something else but I don't know if that's still active. And she may have signed up for more? No idea.

Stitch began as Experiment 626 – and today, 6-26, Disney officially announced plans for a sequel to the live-action Lilo & Stitch movie which was released on May 23 and has grossed more than $390 million in North America and more than $922 million worldwide.

So I saw "Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning". I saw one of the first ones with Tom Cruise and one maybe 5 or 6 years ago with my wife. But I did not see "Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning" which was the direct sequel to this one. Before I continue, I will likely inadvertently spoil something in the coming review so if you are concerned about spoilers, stop reading now. I didn't need to as they used flash backs not just to the last movie but it looked like all movies in the series which all seemed to be tied in some fashion to this plot.

The movie was fast paced and quite enjoyable but it was a complete crock. There is absolutely no way that most of this could have actually happened even stretching the bounds of suspended disbelief. For me this meant that I was not engrossed in it as I could be and many a time I said (as did my son) "Ya, right". But it was nice and cool and overall I enjoyed it.

I usually don't go on a Tuesday because it is half price night and always crowded. And I used free movie coupons anyways which always feels like I get less of a bargain on Tuesdays. Today is was crowded but I still enjoyed it. I got my moneys worth.
Discovered most of the Mission Impossibles are on Netflix including "Dead Reckoning" which we watched tonight. I liked part 2 better. And if I had seen this in a theatre, the ending half way though would have pissed me off.

I got in to see "F1" on the Tuesday Special for $6. With my wife it was $12. Plus a free popcorn and root beer. The movie wasn't bad either
That's a good deal. I will watch it when it comes to my TV. It's gotten good reviews, but like the F1 drivers themselves, I'd have a hard time watching it, being so close to the real thing.

Yes, I don't know much about F1 or Indy but enjoyed the movie. It's just nice to get out of the house for cheap.
I might go to a drive in movie in Illinois when I visit family this weekend They are showing Jurrassic World and How to Train A Dragon

We finished Sirens, and then caught-up to season 2 of Conan O'Brien Must Go; but that was only 3 episodes. Mrs. Scotch is begrudgingly watching "And Just Like That" when each episode airs on Thursdays, but she's getting closer and closer to bailing on that.

Most of what we want to watch is on AppleTV+. We signed-up for that several years ago, got to the end of some season of The Morning Show, and tried to cancel. It was hell, because we don't have an iPhone or any Apple device. We eventually figured out a way, but we don't want to go through that again.

However, we can now select AppleTV+ through our Amazon Prime TV app. So we're doing that now. We started with Shrinking, with Jason Siegel, which is excellent. There is something that may happen after we watch the 7th episode, requiring us to subscribe to AppleTV+. We'll try to figure it out when it happens. We have a big list of shows to watch, including Ted Lasso, Your Friends & Neighbors, and The Morning Show.

Also, I heard the new season of Somebody Feed Phil, the travel/food show with Raymond co-creator Phil Rosenthal, starts tonight.
Slow Horses with Gary Oldman is on my list of 'To Be Watched' on Apple TV+ as well. Still haven't gotten around watching 'Severance' either (I won't bore anyone with the gory details but there's reasons I've been absent lately, and unable to catch anything listed here, none of which are good!)

I'm only quoting you here to get your attention, but did you see warfare? It's my favorite movie of the Year so far, albeit I've only seen like three or four 2025 movies.

There are so many cool things about it.

First off it has dual directors and dual writers which is awesome because it has a real Hollywood guy as one of the directors and writers. Alex Garland who did annihilation ex machina and civil war. All movies I thought were awesome and that FX show.

And then the other director and writer is the guy who actually lived through that battle. So he's not a Hollywood guy, but you can't get more authentic than him.

And the insane thing about the movie that I didn't realize till it was like 3/4 of the way over is that there is no soundtrack whatsoever. The only time they play any sort of music is in the closing credits.

I don't think I've ever watched a movie that didn't have any sort of soundtrack at all and it makes it so much more intense both before the battle building up to it and during it.

Haven’t seen it yet but really want to, mostly waiting for it to drop on Max before too long.
