There will be a new Battlestar Galactica for NBC's streaming service Peacock. (hehe...cock.) And it's not going to be a reboot but will stay in the same universe, so cool, I'll give it a shot.

BTW/Peacock just launched last week and offers a bunch of stuff for free. I signed up a couple days ago and for the free version it doesn't require a credit card.

I've recently been a bit sidetracked with Before the 90 Days, but I'm still on my LOST bender. Made it to s05e12. Almost at the final season.

Tacoma FD is back!!!!!

They had to take a break part way through this season because of the virus. Everything had been filmed, but it slowed down the editing and production side of putting the show together. They took a couple of months off, but are back with new episodes of the show and Talkoma FD that follow it.

It's the best comedy on TV right now.

Hey!!! Dean Norris aka Hank from Breaking Bad has a cameo in s05e13 of LOST.

I need to watch that show. I saw a couple episodes and gave up for some reason. I love the Super Trooper movies so I imagine I'll also dig Tacoma FD.

Dude, s05e14 of LOST is a freaking clipshow. I guess they needed to pad out the season because I think this season took place when the writer's strike was happening.

On to s05e15.

Yup...must have been the writers strike year. s05e17 is also a clipshow...but this time with the creators talking about the show.

On to the final 2 episodes of the season.

In the Hollywood is out of ideas thread, memebag had referenced the above link. I was at 72 movies at the time. I've been going out my way to see the others. I'm now at 91 movies seen, with 9 left to go.

Which brings me to.... The Birth of a Nation. Koop, you struggled with this one, right? I'm not tempted at all to see this long movie, but I guess I'll need to watch it.
I did it. Watched all 100 movies on that list!

Birth of a Nation was so darn long and racist. Was hard to watch. As a relic piece of art though, it had its merits.

I didn't expect to like the Charlie Chaplin silent films, but I actually did enjoy them.

Some of the musicals were my least favorite.

I had given up on the idea back in the late 90s because not all the movies were available at the local video rental places. Now for a few bucks, you can watch most anything.
