2017 Movies & Tv Show

besides her cameo in that godawful batman movie i've never seen this woman act and yet somehow i know she is the perfect fit for literally any role ever. she gives any current leading lady a run for her money in the looks department. (i may be a bit infatuated.)

She hasn't had much of leading roles, I did watched Keeping Up with the Joneses which I think might be one of her first early leading roles and it was alright, but she did appear in the Fast & Furious franchise 5 - 7 and acted well.

The t-shirt picture has her looking too scrawny, but she seems to have relaxed a bit and allowed herself to eat more than celery.

Ok, I did it. I saw "Baywatch" at the Drafthouse.

Dwayne Johnson is fantastic and I love him but there's only so much he can do to save a film. 3/4ths of the way in I thought I'd rather be home playing with my fidget spinner.

We saw Wonder Woman today. My sweets wanted to go. Since it was in the Bistro theater I said ok. It turned out to be a really good movie. I was surprised. Plus I had a good burger. We also saw Diary of A Wimpy Kid The Long Haul over Memorial Day weekend. Not a very good movie. Not even for kids, they were trying to use too much fart humor. no funny.

saw guardians 2 today and didn't like it. i didn't hate it but i left the theater thinking it was a waste of a trip. my 2 most trusted movie review sites/podcasts, red letter media and the film vault both said they enjoyed it more that the first one so perhaps i went in with too high expectations but it simply wasn't for me. there was one 1 joke that made me laugh, where pratt said he was going to build some really weird shit, and even though every character got their own arc i found none of them to be all that compelling. i liked karen gillan but that was probably because i'm totally biased as she is my favorite doctor who companion.

what the movie did do is make me appreciate logan more. at multiple points during the movie i thought that i should watch logan again. that one has really been growing on me and i think it is my favorite film of 2017 so far and by far my favorite superhero movie in a long time. i just watched it like 2 or 3 weeks ago and i think i'll be watching it again in the next few days.

I saw "I, Olga" with Memegirl tonight. Difficult, stark, severe Czech black and white true story about a young lesbian who smokes a lot, drives a truck through a crowd and is hanged. Absolutely opaque.

We watched a little Fixer Upper, followed by the Real Housewives of NYC. Totally obtuse.

Ok, I saw "It Comes At Night", the 2nd feature from the guy who made "Krisha". I was disappointed. It was so ambiguous that it felt pointlesss. Bad stuff happens for a long time and then the lights turn on. "Krisha" had a lot more going on, a lot more to think about and a great central performance. This didn't.

So they dumped season 5 of OITNB all at one time?

Thats what Netflix usually does. Don't know about the other streaming services

I know iTunes store does offer Netflix original series, but I don't think it available to buy yet. But I was about to watch season 5 of OITNB but I'm to damn occupied with TWD marathon and plus I only have couple more days left to access season 7 on AMC on demand.
