2017 Movies & Tv Show

got back from alien a couple hours ago. it was good. worth seeing. i re-watched prometheus last night and i like that one better. there is a twist in alien that is so easily predictable it laughable. also there are some decisions characters make that are simply not logical. especially concerning the various people who are in charge of the main ship. even still, it was a fun movie and i enjoy seeing those aliens wreak havoc.

HUGE week for netflix kicks off today. final season of bloodline and some exclusive brad pitt war movie today and then on tuesday my favorite netflix show, house of cards comes back for its 5th season.

the pitt movie looks kinda dumb but i feel bloodline is a wildly underrated show. and like i said, i love house of cards.

I should start watching some of these movies on Netflix, I been to addicted binge watching shows. Plus I plan on checking out House of Cards one day.

Friday I saw "Crocodile Fury" at the Drafthouse. It's the story of a mumbling witch who controls hopping vampires with fish in their mouths and wants to team up with a gang of crocodile people to terrorize villagers who can never get more than a crocodile's mouth length away from water. Some of the characters were named "Don", "Peggy" and "Mr. Cooper". We watched a transfer from a VHS tape with Greek subtitles.

Yesterday I saw Pirates 5 and the movie was alright, it was a bit better then the 4th film. Seems like they were trying to bring the movie back like the 1st film, also can't believe they are going to film 2 more.

cbs sunday morning is a really good show. i didn't know it existed until i found that video about blockbuster i posted here a few weeks ago. since then i've watched a ton of their segments on youtube and they are all good. it's like a bite sized, usually more upbeat, version of 60 minutes.

I've been watching it since the philandering Charles Kuralt (the original bow-tied host named Charles) anchored. I could swear I brought up the show a few years ago, and you said "is that the one where they show pictures of sunflowers in between the stories?". But maybe my memory is failing me.

huh. that is a very real possibility and then i just forgot about it. and it's 100% guaranteed i saw that WAI because i liked a post in it. so i guess i did know about it. weird cause i would have sworn that blockbuster segment was the first i ever saw it.

either way, i know about it now and it's very good.

Tonight we saw "Krishna" at Film Club. Mesmerizing film. I highly recommend it. The story is standard dysfunctional family Thanksgiving dinner made for TV stuff, but the way the story is told makes the film great.

The same director has a horror film opening next week, "It Comes At Night". I've got to see that.
