Bought tickets for the opening of Ghostbusters. 50/50 shot if it will be any good.

Saw this tonight. I actually liked it. It is not a sequal but incorporates the original in unique ways. I will probably get the DVD in the $10-15 bin and see it again or watch it on Netflix.

Mrs. Bag and I saw "Lucha Mexico" last night, a documentary about wrestling in Mexico. It was informative, sad, and poorly structured. I think the filmmakers were trying to avoid injecting artificial drama into real life, but they succeeded too much.

It was a bargain, though. Victory got me a BOGO, and everyone who went to the premiere got a free pint glass filled with "Neato Bandito" lager from Deep Ellum Brewing. So two tickets, two beers and two glasses for $10.50.

The beer was just so-so. It's from Dallas, so what else would you expect?

Tonight I saw "All Quiet on the Western Front". I've seen it many times before, but never on the big screen. It holds up. Great film. Alamo put together a great pre-show reel, too, that finished with the "My Forgotten Man" segment from "Golddigers of 1933".

The new hatch green chili pork french fries are on fleek.

Eh, Into Darkness was a major disappointment for me (shut it off halfway through!) I don't have high hopes for this one.

Yep and plus I should have mention. You will see King Kong is much bigger then usual, because it all leading towards the big one King Kong vs Godzilla.
