shows i watch from networks:

last man on earth
the good wife
the simpsons
american crime
the flash
and some reality shows...amazing race and hells kitchen

besides the reality shows those are all quality programs the networks put out.

this weeks horace and pete, the louis ck show, was thought provoking. in the episode a woman louis bangs is ambiguous about being trans. they then get into a discussion about if it is the trans persons responsibility to inform their partner before they have sex. now i was and still am of the opinion that they should inform their partner because that person may not be interested in dealing with another penis. even if that penis has been transformed into a vagina its still basically a differently constructed penis. however, i never really thought about it the way they did on the show and i thought it was a cool discussion. check it out...its a long clip but i think its worth a watch. they really get into it about 5 mins in but ya gotta watch the whole thing for context.

i saw cloverfield lane today. it was very good. not quite as good as i was expecting but still well worth a theater visit and id give it a B+. goodman was great at being ominous and that mary winstead does a good job with keeping you interested in what her character will decide do.

well there is no possible way it could be worse than crystal skull so im actually kinda happy to hear this news. this hour long dissection of the movie is much better than the actual film.
