When I saw the channel name "Deep Tracks", it made me think that it wouldn't include singles. They'd play just, well, deep tracks.
But earlier today I heard:
Don Henley "I Will Not Go Quietly" (#2 on Rock Chart)
Jefferson Airplane "White Rabbit" (#8 on Hot 100)
U2 "Vertigo" (#31 on Hot 100)
Chicago "Questions 67 & 68" (#71 on Hot 100)
Looking on the recently played list of the station, I also see they've played these recently:
Tom Petty "Mary Jane's Last Dance" (#14 on Hot 100)
Led Zeppelin "Kashmir" (charted in 3 countries overseas, still heard on every rock station across the US at least once a week I assume)
Doors "Break On Through" (a single, still heard regularly on rock radio I assume, reached #26 on the Bubbling Under, charted overseas)
Beatles "Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" (#71 on Hot 100)
Lou Reed "Dirty Blvd" (got decent MTV airplay, was definitely a single)
Sure, I see a lot of (what I presume are) deep tracks. But there's a fair amount of hits too - some of them pretty big hits....?
