What Does This Have To Do With The Show?

There's Nick Foles and the guy who did the 40 yard dash...now this guy:

"I literally ask my kids every night when we're snuggling up in the bed, 'Are you happy? And if you're not, what could make you happier?' " she said.

"Yeah don't hit us!"

Here is an excerpt from a song review I wrote in 2009. See if you can find the Stern show reference...

Until recently, Gahan simply sang the words that were handed to him. "I have tried (songwriting), but Martin [Gore] is so good at that, it would be silly to offer the group something second-rate," Gahan said in 1985, "I'll concentrate on the singing. I think I'm pretty good at that."

That formula worked well. Depeche Mode's 1989 single "Personal Jesus" became Warner Brothers' best selling single. Their 1990 album Violator went triple platinum, and their 1993 follow-up Songs Of Faith And Devotion debuted at #1 in several countries around the world.

Unfortunately, while Gahan's professional life was a nine, his personal life was at a two. Between 1991 and 1996, Gahan divorced twice and attempted suicide once. Helplessly addicted to drugs, he died on May 28, 1996 from shooting a fatal speedball made with the Red Rum brand of heroin (named from the word ‘murder' spelled backwards).

Thanks to fast-acting paramedics, Gahan was revived. However, even after being brought back from a flatline, Gahan shot up again for a couple of days until an intervention put him on a new path.

Lizzo is apparently suing a scale company because she tried to weigh herself and the scale gave a message about how it was designed only for one person.

90s Howard vs Lizzo would have been compelling radio.

Facebook has those dumb riddles that appear as even dumber reels. I'm sure the ridiculous "influencers" make money off them somehow.

I just saw one "You are locked inside a car with a baseball bat. How do you get out?" and it reminded me of the phone call Wendy did where she was trapped inside the convertible.

I’ll still watch a game on ESPN but I long ago gave up on Sports Talk because it’s now all about hyperboles and ‘hot takes’ and how this or that impacts LeBron’s legacy, or always the Cowboys, Lakers, or Aaron Rogers. Yeah no thanks.

Even if it's "90s Howard Stern?" Ha!

I watch PTI, but that's it. At least they keep their topics to a few minutes each and talk about a wide range of stuff. Sure they'll talk about the big stuff, but not for 7-10 minutes like some of those shows.

Agreed PTI is still fun…
“Same time tomorrow you knuckleheads” lol

It was one of the summer Olympics when both Tony and Mike had a lot of time off. Naturally, they went to Dan LeBatard a lot... probably too much. Everyone was sick of him.

...dare I say I might be beginning to miss that sweaty mess of flesh?

They do have a good collection of B-team, however with Frank, Mina, and Pablo Torre. Wikipedia indicated that Frank fills in for Tony and Mina fills in for Mike, but I'm not sure how 100% that is...or I've never paid attention to it. I do think it's beyond time for a guest host named Tony Reali. (Remember Jason Whitlock? Oof.) It's a shame Shaq and Chuck are TBS. They'd be awesome together.

And I've never gotten into ATH, although I did see their retrospective a while back.

LeBatard is alright in small doses, couldn’t handle his program every day. Mina is a keeper. Greenberg is increasingly throwing out weird opinions, without Golic to keep him in check.
