Such a great parody. It's amazing to realize how long Survivor has been on the air. In terms of pure number of seasons, it's been on longer than The Simpsons...but Survivor has also been known to do two seasons per year. I never really got into it, but did watch some of the earlier seasons on an "off and on basis." I liked the Amazon season when Jeff left the area via jetski. The next shot had him coming into NY harbor via that same jetski. As it was right after 9/11, the live audience went nuts when the Statue of Liberty was seen on the TV.
And of course, when Jeff told Howard that people would send him Stern Show tapes when he was off in the remote locations. You'd have to figure that with as long as it would take to get to those locations, how many tapes would he get by the time filming wrapped?
This takes me back to Sunday afternoons circa 2008. Mastertape Theater, then this song to introduce the next show:

Yes! I laugh when I hear this song, because all I can think of is Ronnie and his Mambo cologne.
This is more a sad one, but I'm watching one of those Dateline murder things and the woman says: "I lost my mother and I lost my best friend." The situation happened just north of NYC so she kinda has a Booey accent without the beaver teeth and ginormous lips.
