So of course Howard goes on vacation for two weeks.

And what's happening on NewsNation? They're playing a video of OJ Simpson going on about this whole Alex Murdaugh guy.

Howard: He (Mister X) spanks you, right?
Robin: Get outta here.
Howard: I know he does. Does he spank you when you're bad?
Robin: (pause) He spanked me yesterday.
Howard: He did? Yeah, I can see you can barely sit down. Why did you get spanked?
Robin: I was carrying on about something. I was throwing one of my tantrums.
Howard: And what? He just turned you over his knee and spank you?
Robin: He just- I turned around to walk out and POW! And I was like, "That hurt!"
Howard: And you shut up, right?
Robin: Of course.
Howard: You behaved. You liked it. You got a little excited, didn't you?
Robin: I was laughing. But yeah, it knocked me into my senses.
 
I'm not sure I could listen to those old shows...not for the sex content, but the anti-FCC stuff would just make me mad. F the FCC!

On one of the two shows I was listening to yesterday (6/26/02 or 6/27/02) Howard mentioned that Andre was no longer hitting the button and "someone named Dead Air Dave" had taken his place.

There were also a few spots where a chunk of the show was missing where Howard didn't hit his button. You could always tell when Howard did it because after the blip he'd suddenly be yelling "Don't use the F word or I have to kick you out of here"

There was one moment I'll always remember when the caller mentioned he got dumped because of Robin and the "fellatio on" the sink. Tom had to come in and say those words were fine by themselves, but putting them together was the no-no.

The show evolution has been interesting. For a time around 2006-2010, there was no way the show could have lasted on FM with the Sybian, the Wheel of Sex, the Robospanker, etc. In 2023, it wouldn't survive because the 2-3 hour interviews would take the entire show with all the 20-min commercials.

I believe that was the 6/27 show...the same one where Artie showed up late after doing his appearance on The Bear Damn Sports Show from back when the regional sports channels had talk shows and other stuff worth watching that wasn't live sports.
 
Boy that sirius stock took a minor nose dive over the last week or 2. Was up over 6 today it's like a bit over 4.

That's the metallest of metal. I only know 8 of them (and I'm a metalhead).

I've heard of most of the bands on there but don't listen to them because they cross the line from making good music into just 'look how heavy we are'.
