By far the worst part of this whole COVID thing is the fact that it has reduced me to watching soccer and UFC. I don't like either of those sports but with nothing else for so long I need some sort of sport fix. I'm watching boxing now on ESPN so that's a little better but I don't really love boxing either.

Another pet peeve of mine: Formula 1 has returned, but after the first race, the sports segment on our local news spent 10 minutes covering an amateur golf tournament, and zero minutes on F1. Even when there's no other sports, it gets no mention.

Here's another fun one for ya.
I forgot about golf. I like golf and watched a fair amount of it this past weekend. But I want the big 4 back. Team sports are my jam. I'll be happy when MLB comes back and that's my least favorite of the 4. Oh and I just found out that there will be no fans at the Disney NBA games. There goes my dream of watching the Sixers after a day at the parks. The NFL preseason sucks yet I'm still bummed it's not happening this year. Even shitty NFL is way better than every other sport combined.

Yay! One of the 4 major sports is back! I'm watching Dodgers/Giants and excited about it. I rarely get excited about MLB unless I'm at a game or the Phillies are in the postseason.
The cardboard cutouts of fans that ESPN is using are dumb. And I have a feeling the fake CGI "virtual fans" FOX is going to use will be even dumber. I'd rather see an empty stadium. But whatever, I'm just happy to watch a real sport again.

Some clubs are selling the right to put yourself in cardboard in the stadium. If your cardboard self gets wacked in the head by a ball, they send you the ball.
