The complaining on our local community dialogue about "business killers" has died down, so that's a difference I see up here. But I don't know what the southern folk are thinking about what's happening now.
 
I think the problem especially here in the South is that the wearing of masks seems to be seen as a political statement, instead of a best health practice. I just got back from Walmart and less than half of the customers were wearing masks.
 
Starting tomorrow, the Louisiana governor announced that wearing masks will be mandatory in public places. We'll see how that goes.
 
What makes that number even more scary is that numbers usually fall slightly on the weekend (less people testing)... and this was Florida's worse day.

Hindsight is 20/20 but in March instead of shutting everything down, cancelling sports and making people stay at home you just made masks mandatory in indoor public places and outdoor stadiums and concert venues we probably would not have the spikes we had here in Canada or the ones you had and are having in the USA.
 
People have to take matters into their own hands and cover their faces. Politicians are all mask-holes and we can't trust them to make the right decisions.

Ohio started off great, but knuckled under and opened up too soon and now our numbers are spiking. We were down to about 230 new cases a day a month ago, and now we're pushing 1,500 new cases a day.

You closed down before we in Ontario did. I know I was visiting at the time. Cost me my hot buffet breakfast on our last day in the hotel. :)
 
Ontario is going to announce its plans for stage 3 on Monday. Suspect Toronto will be last again (probably regional).
