This is interesting because when she was on the show she talked about a mystery man that took her for a night time hike. She wouldn't name the guy but then she went on to talk about how her type was someone like a Gordon Ramsay. I guess she digs chefs.

She's got some kind of 80's look going on.

I am now realizing that my Scarlett post is all wrong and I'm mixing up my sexy leading ladies. Charlize Theron was on to promote Atomic Blonde and talked about Gordon Ramsay and the hike. Scarlett was on before that to promote Ghost in the Shell and had nothing to do with talking about chefs. Oops.

Haha, that's funny, because after the Charlize interview, my wife confused her with Scarlett. She said she mixes them up in her head, and never remembers which is which. I clarified that they're of different generations, and from 2 different countries.

I used to love the beginning of the show when Howard and Robin got into something on his mind right away... Now it opens every time with 10 minutes of Wendy or some other whack pack bit [Shuli reduced from would-be stand up guy to exploiter of sadly damaged people like Wendy, Big Foot and Underdog] or a Sal and Richard phony phone call to an ordinary person who is trying to work... or some cock bit like the George announce... I can't listen to it... End of mini-rant..
 
At this point, I think it's safe to say George is a horny dude who probably gets off on this, which is why he goes with it.
 
Listened to most of the Kelly Clarkson interview. It was informative. She was game. She was in good voice.. actually amazing voice. The interview suffered a little from Howard talking over her and switching subjects before she was finished. Although I am her fan, it seemed Howard was putting it on a bit thick at times. Although Howard acknowledged the fact that AI produces stars as opposed to The Voice [and AGT], he and she failed to go into why. (My theory - on AI the contestants start out in a bare room singing accapella. It is maybe the best part of the show to see them win over judges in a minute or two. The viewers watch them grow as the weeks go by. On The Voice the singers start out with over produced performances before over produced judges with the emphasis on belting and showy runs.) One thing obviously missing was a discussion of Kelly's struggle with her weight. She now carries the flag against "fat shaming". Howard is, in my opinion, the all-time fat shamer. He is obsessed with it. You know his standard is whether or not the ribs show. I think he described Kelly as being "big as a house" more than once. Actually I confess the same thought came into my head a few times over the last ten years. Howard, you dodged a subject that would have added to your legend!

They talked about her weight. It wasn't a deep dive but he asked something about the studio wanting her to be at a certain weight and she said that when someone tells her something like that she wants to eat 5 cheeseburgers in a row right in front of them.

Interesting that she mentioned Pink like 5 times during the interview. I wonder why? I guess she compares herself to Pink. I also wonder why Howard didn't ask about that. It seems like the sort of psychological thing he would want to get into.

Overall I enjoyed the Kelly interview too. I knew very little about her and this interview made me like her. Some of her songs I knew but didn't know they were hers.

Guess I missed more than I thought. Problem with listening in bed. Totally missed her references to Pink. Pink is like her in that she can really sing pop but perhaps has a real inferiority complex about her looks? In some early song Pink sang that she could not be like Britney Spears because she was not pretty. Recently on some awards show she told the world that had counseled her little girl (who was with her) to stand up to people who says she looks like a boy (the little girl looks nothing like a boy) because that's what she put up with and look where she is today or something like that. Does Kelly have to stand up to the world because she's fat? I'm doing a Howard psycho-analysis here.
 
Once again...Iris by the Goo-Goo Fools comes on and I cannot listen to this song without thinking of the Gay Dance Party.

It's probably at the point where if I had to karoke this one, it would be under a fit of laughter...and no one would understand why.

If you karoke it, remember to change the lyric to, "I won't tell them you're gay."
 
Anyone else feel that Robin's sidekick voice is leaning more towards a yell/holler than a conversation? I'm finding the the show more and more annoying to listen-to on headphones. One reason is the bit Howard does where he's annoyed by having to explain something, and he's starts yelling. But also, Robin sounds like she's trying to be heard over the roar of a crowd, minus the crowd. Yet she's actually sitting in a whisper-quiet studio, with a microphone right in-front of her face. It's the same thing Trump does: he sounds like he's trying to be heard over the sound of an idling helicopter, even when he's addressing a silent room with a mic.
 
For those that don't like the "George is gay" bits, I bet those stop.

Meanwhile, I'm of the George camp in this one. If more come forth, my opinion may change... but one person that George doesn't remember....hmmm... things seem sketchy.

I think it was mentioned here, but it does seem like George had to convince him to go along with it. Whether that was stigma or whatnot, who knows.

I find it interesting that a few of the Trump supporters can't see the difference between this and what Trump was openly boasting about. George is denying even knowing this guy. Then again, the Trump fans are just hating the fact their boy is being thrown over the coals.
 
FUCK HOWARD TALKING ABOUT 360!

He's been saying it's coming for years now. And he's pumping it even more so these past 6 months or so. Stop talking about it until it is actually ready to go. I want to use this service and it's annoying to keep hearing that it will be here any time now and then it never shows up.
