When they do weeks of these tournaments, like Tournament of Champs, or Masters, or Champions wildcard, I eventually tire of questions I don't understand and answers I would never know. But then they go back to regular Jeopardy, and it's like yesterday's game, with 3 stupid people, and me yelling at the TV. They didn't know that Barbra Streisand was the smooth-singing idol of the Coffee Talk bit on SNL. They also didn't get many other musical questions.

I hate the questions that make no sense and take the whole time trying to figure out what they are even trying to ask, before you can start to try to process the answer.

What an effed-up episode. The female contestant is named Bevin. And she does a dance when she speaks.

And then for final Jeopardy, they were looking for "Carlsbad Caverns". Bevin wrote "Carlsbad", which is not the name of the place. She dropped to $600. But then the champ wrote "Carlsbad Cavrens". And even though spelling doesn't count, the way it is said is not the name of the place. So he dropped to zero. Bevin won with $600.

I guess there's not much to say, but Scott Riccardi is pretty good. I think he's up to 12 wins. Most of the people going up against him have been weak.

He's an engineer from NJ, which is what I'd be if I ever got on the show.

Correction: tonight's win is #14.

He’s unstoppable at the moment. A lot of games are out of reach before the final.
I recall one woman contestant who was in the center, who gave him a good run. But mostly, he has run away with most games. Not sure if he's really smart, or just has great buzzer timing, or both.

Ken Jennings is a contestant on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire with Matt Damon, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel.
They got up to $250,000 and then time ran out. So they'll be back the next time it airs. These 2 questions show why a person like Jennings is capable of winning the million:

In the 1st question, he knew what language each of the wrong answers were published in. Damon seemed to know a couple of them too. In the 2nd question, they both have done this in Spain with grapes. But for most people, it would be a guess.

Finally, on this one, they actually weren't sure, so they asked the audience:

I think Jennings would've guessed correctly without the audience poll, but he wasn't 100% confident. It happens that on the show "The Americas", narrated by Tom Hanks, they showed sperm whales sleeping vertically. So this suggests that many audience members saw that show. Or perhaps it's the only answer that really makes sense.

I would have guessed the whales and grapes, but not the first question.

I would have through that Around the World was written in English. The other 2 wrong answers I knew were wrong.

Also on last night's Millionaire, this question stumped Drew Carey and Aisha Tyler (and the audience), and I think it's a good question for you guys.

The question was:
“With a whopping 11, which of these singers has more number-one hits on the Billboard Hot 100 than the other three combined?”
The choices were
Whitney Houston, Celine Dion,
Tina Turner, or Britney Spears.

Feel free to discuss.
