April 8th.
There's usually still a lot of clouds and rain that time of year.

We had enough breaks in the cloud cover that I was able to see today's eclipse.

Ironically eclipses produce cloud cover. The drop in temp causes those puffy clouds to form.

The clouds broke enough for us to have a pretty good view.

The temp dropped 2.5 degrees here.
It rained pretty hard about 2 hours after the eclipse. We got lucky for sure.

The eclipse wasn't very exciting here. We were not in the path and it was cloudy. It was sunny all week leading to Monday and then it got cloudy for the eclipse and after it was over it got sunny again. It didn't even get dark.
I hope the asteroid thats suppose to swing by Earth in 2032 is more dramatic.
