The one who should go to jail is Alexander Acosta, the guy who got Epstein the plea deal a while back, and who recently had to step down as Trump's Labor Sec'y.

But I know what you mean about the documentary. Some friends or family members recommended it, and I thought "yeah, I don't want to watch that". But then we got to the end of Dead To Me, and the Mrs said "let's watch it". So it was either that, or more HGTV.

I figured she'd bail after the first episode, because it was just horrible and sad. But she hung with it. There are a lot of interesting parts about his background, his wealth, and the people who associated with him. Also, they show surveillance footage, his interrogations, and all the legal stuff. And of course the forensic stuff at the end.

yea, every adult involved with that guy was awful. he had at least 2 presidents and a prince involved in his circle. not a good look for any of them.

what is dead to me and why don't i know about it? all i do these days is watch tv. there is an old show called dead like me that my mom liked.

hgtv sounds like a wholesome fun way to spend time with a woman you love. not really a single man activity though.

i never heard of this show before today. i may need to think about getting my ex's off my netflix subscription. not 100% sure which one was watching it. there are only 2 possibilities. i guess it's an interesting look into their lives.

Went to PUblix today and got a bunch of stuff that should last me a couple weeks. The cool thing they do in their weekly ad every now and then is run a promo where if you spend $50 in groceries you can get a $50 gas card for $40. I always try to take advantage of this promo. I get a Wawa card every time. That way I can get gas or a hoagie or whatever. It's way better than a Shell card or whatever. So now I have the $90 worth of groceries I bought along with $50 for Wawa later on and I saved $10! Sweet!

"Wawa" is the Ojibwe word for "wild goose." Now in addition to saving $10, you've learned something. ;)

You don't grow up in Philly going there more or less daily, without knowing that. And they have a goose in their logo. It's so nice that they have rapidly expanded outside of the southeast PA/south NJ regions. I love getting a real pretzel every now and then.

And Wawa is an American word for killer hoagies.

MAJOR CANDLE NEWS!!!

Walmart was 100% sold out of my little $0.96 friends today so I took the big step up to the $3.72, 20oz candles. I bought two of them in the same scents I usually get with the smaller guys. I'm going to light the Garden Rain scent now.

I'll be sure to keep you all posted with any future updates.

Yesterday I had to drive in to the office, actually 2 sites. I had to get some CDs from my office, leave a dongle for a coworker, and drop-off the CDs at another site. I wore long pants (Levi's) for the 1st time in a month (the last time I drove in). The site where my office is actually has a manned station in the lobby, where a pair of (what looks like) cameras on tripods, spaced maybe 8 ft apart, read my temperature. The other site just had someone pointing the thing at my head to read my temp.

Today is unusually cool, so I'm leaving the Levi's on, but it's going to get into the 90's this weekend, into early next week. I'm gonna take a few days off, hang out at the beach.

Riding lawn mower!

From the first time I was a young lad and my dad volunteered me to mow the lawn, I've only used push mowers, or at best self-propelled push mowers... until today!

Me, my dad, and my brother all chipped in and bought a riding lawn mower. We live in the same neighborhood. I'm not a machine knowledgeable guy, but I know the blades cut a much bigger path, and it was so joyous to finally use a riding mower, especially in the humid Louisiana heat.

Very cool. I've never used one, and my yard is small enough that it would take 5 minutes to cut with a riding mower, but I'd like to try it once for fun.
