i have 2 thoughts on this story:

first off it's heartbreaking that this sweet couple save a few bucks to get a ring and then get their balls busted by the staff cause they didn't spend all that much. really makes me feel for the couple.
but then they kind of ruin it:
whenever big fatties talk about how they have to scrimp and save to put food in their bellies i don't buy it and i lose all my empathy for them.
sure guys...it definitely looks like you 2 have a really hard time saving the funds to get a meal.

US economics, technology and culture have created a strong correlation between poverty and obesity. Bad food is cheap. Poor people are more sedentary than others.

no one has to be fat. it you want to or don't care then that's cool, but don't cry about how hard it is to save the money to eat. if you only have the money to eat at taco bell then eat 3 or 4 tacos a day. that's enough to not go hungry and also not make you big and fat.

You obviously don't understand much about nutrition. And that's fine, because you know a lot about other things. But it should disqualify you front preaching about obesity.
