The Beatles Channel just played a live version of Well (Baby Please Don't Go) by John Lennon, Yoko Ono (who sounds like a yowling alley cat) and Frank Zappa. The Turtles' Mark Volman and Howard Kaylan provide background vocals. It was recorded June 6, 1971 at the Fillmore East in New York and included on Lennon's 1972 album Some Time In New York City. The song was first recorded in 1958 by the Olympics and was the B-side of their top-ten hit Western Movies. Here is Lennon's live version:

On the cover of the Help! album, the Beatles are depicted signaling in semaphore but without flags. It is commonly thought that they were signaling the letters H, E, L and P. They were actually signaling N-U-J-V. The Daily Beatle website explains why Freeman didn't use H-E-L-P.

Here, for your amazement and amusement, are videos from Raymond Schillinger's You Can't Unhear This YouTube channel revealing the "hidden F-bomb" in Hey Jude and the "hidden voice" and "hidden guitar solo" in I Want You (She's So Heavy), the last song all four Beatles worked on together at Abbey Road studios.
The last line of the handwritten lyrics says, "Ending. Fading." Paul obviously saw no need to write "na-na-na-na-na-na-na" over and over and over.

Andy, Chas, Pete, Pete, Eric, Tony, Klaus, Stu, Billy and Jimmie. It isn't fair to call these men "the other Beatles." Some of them merely played on a few recordings or played alongside the Beatles at a few club appearances. But this video reveals who inspired the "Beatle haircut" and who was considered to be a "lousy drummer."
Today a new video was posted to the YouTube channel You Can't Unhear This. It explains the "mystery voice" singing "She loves you, yeah yeah yeah" (twice) at the 3:23 mark of the Beatles' 1967 hit All You Need Is Love. Was it Paul? Was it John? Was it both? We finally know the answer – and we can blame the confusion on a schmuck in a purple shirt who knocked Paul's mike stand over.

Let me answer your question with another question: Would you want to hear Ringo sing Yesterday or John sing Octopus's Garden? I rest my case.
I like whomever sings yesterday. I assume it’s John or paul. Not sure which. Again don’t care.

I think stuff like that is kinda fun. The guy tries to make it more dramatic than it really is, but it’s a well made clip.
