fixed!:peace:

Must be a mac thing...

You know what in some ways it is a Mac thing, copying and pasting on a Mac for me is still a pain in the ass. I also have a hard time highlighting things I want to copy. It must just be me, but I am thinking maybe not. hehehe

Nope, I cant do it;:p
-Dont worry Dab, Jobs next $30 service pack will surely patch that issue. Until then maybe you just need to smoke some cupertino "kind", to get you on a more Macopasetic plane, 'bra.:peace:

Really, I've asked some of the guys here on the forum and I think it is just me so stuck in my Windows ways. Years and years of using Windows vs 6 months of using OS X. I think if I only used a Mac I could get this down, but because I still use Windows the majority of the time due to work it just seems I can't get this down. It isn't that it doesn't do it, it just I seem to struggle to remember how to do it because I am so set in my ways of doing it Windows style. Oh Well, shit happens! LOL

There is little doubt Apple knows how to maximize their bottom line and make a profit.

Props!

If I was blowing Steve, I doubt I'd be here talking about such things with you. I'd be living it up some where beyond my current means because I'd have tons of money, because my mouth and lips are very, very expensive! LOL

By the way Welcome to DRC and don't worry about this being your last post, I would never take such comments personally. Do, I like Apple products, some of them for sure. Am I under the delusion that Apple does everything right and that their products never need any improvements. NOT on your life!

Your point seems to be that there are things you feel the iPhone should do and it should be much more complicated because making it idiot proof somehow makes it like a toy and less good to you. Certainly you are entitled to your opinion, but I don't think 80 plus million iPhones that have been sold were sold because people wanted phones that were super complicated and the chief requirement being that they must absolutely do everything. Sure there are things I'd like for the iPhone to do and I would also concur that the iPhone isn't for everyone. I think the the iPhone's appeal is the fact that it is simply to use, doesn't require a steep learning curve and offers platform that while it may not do everything, what it does do, it does very well.

There is much about the iPhone and Apple that I would say could use a lot of improvement, one is they have got to come off this thing with not allowing multi-tasking. They really need to be a bit more open and have less protective policies, though there are those that would say that is what has created the niche that Apple has carved out for themselves and how they have become so profitable. Yes, I like my iPhone and my Mac Book Pro, does that somehow mean that I can only see things from Steve Jobs view? Absolutely NOT, I just think it is crazy that folks such as yourself try to say that the iPhone is so bad, yet can't really explain why it continues to out pace most other smartphones on the market. This even being tied to a crappy network AT&T.

Also don't let my Apple avatar and signature stuff fool you, next month I may like something else and all that will change as it has about a dozen times in all the years I've been on this forum. Most will tell you I tend to play up whatever my favorite toy is for the month or sometimes multiple months. In fact I am switch out my Avatar to Slacker Plus, because they have recently added a ton of music at my long standing request over and over, so I'll promote them again for while. Slacker Rocks!

Again welcome to the forum and I look forward to having you engage here on the forum.

:bigclap: Sorry about the tone of my comment. I've taken my meds now, I'm good. I really think that the iPhone is so popular because of what I call the "Apple pie effect". It's easy to look at, and so easy to enjoy the first few bites, but by the end of it, the sweetness starts getting to you. It becomes obvious that it won't fill the void that a more complex meal would. A full meal takes a litle work though. iphone is definitely a great snack! That's my take anyway. The smoothness of the interface is simple amazing though. Why is that so complicated to everyone else? Maybe Windows Mobile 7 will step up to the plate. Even the Droid, with all of it's horsepower, jerky and unnatural. I am wondering why Slacker hasn't released an app for Windows Mobile, even for sale?? It's crazy to me. Ramble ramble...

Despite what some may think, efripp is not me as an alias....:p

Welcome, efripp-you missed it when DedicatedAppleBoi also had a MBP picture in his sig line! Besides DAB would never suck off a stoner like Steve Jobs, he smells like stinky pot smoke.
That's just funny. I did notice he listed a Windows 7 box that I didn't notice before. Selective filtering I guess. Thanks for the big welcome!

Piss on Slacker for not having a WM app available. It's a vacuum market. No one has an app for WM that is finger friendly, enables caching for off-line listening, offers a huge selection of music.
I used to use Selectradio to listen for my favorite Sirius stations from WM, but when Sirius and XM 69'ed they evidently were having so much fun with each other that they forgot about the customer by eliminating several stations (including my personal favorite station, BoomBox), they started charging for internet radio(on top of the regular subscription), and the monthly rate went up. How did the FCC think that was in the best interest of the consumer?
Besides that, SelectRadio's UI sucks anus. Horrible UI. You can barely navigate it with a stylus. And it's a paid app. So, along with Slacker and Sirius/XM, SelectRadio needs a good slap in the nuts. Whack!
At home I've been enjoying Shoutcast fo free and it has lots and lots of stations, so I looked for a good Shoutcast app for WM and the most promising, though I've been using it for about a day, is Kinoma FreePlay. UI is slick, at least for a WM app. There's a paid version too. I'm sure I know why soon enough. Maybe it's the magical caching feature! It's not...

5 months has passed and still no wm app. what can they possibly be waiting on, christmas.

From what I can tell, Slacker development has no deadlines and they release stuff when they are good and ready. I wish I could work in an environment like that.

Damn right.
I'm patiently waiting for the WinMO app too, but I'd rather that they release an app that works than one that's buggy. But on the other hand, how long can it take to do this? It's not rocket science.

From what I can gather, they have different development teams for each platform, the Slacker Android app team worked the fastest and got caching out the soonest. While the iPhone Dev team is taking a little longer, and that's before approval from the iTunes App Store. I have heard scuttlebutt saying it'll be a little less than a month for the iPhone app, and again that's before the approval process.
